They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people"

This is a man that defeated polished politician after politician to get the most votes in primary history ... and that was his opening statement. I don't think there was a person in the world outside of Trump himself who truly believed he could become the Republican nominee for President of the United States after that speech, and yet here we are.

So at this point, I have no choice but to recognize his genius. It seems strange to say, when I watch him say crazy things day in and day out but who am I to doubt his strategy? The man used a fraction of the money everyone else had in their pocket, said the most outlandish and crazy things you could dream of on National TV over and over and over again, and just kept on winning.

To answer your question, I don't believe the quotes to be continued (on this scale) if elected. He'll still say what's on his mind when off the cuff, but his policy speeches and addresses will stay on point and he'll kick back knowing he conned the world into electing Donald Trump POTUS (and I use the word conned in an admiration way, not negative at all).
On Meet the Press a few weeks ago Chuck Todd was commenting on the fact the Trump has thrown the playbook out the window. Despite advice from respected "strategists" he continues to run a very unconventional campaign. His thinking is, running a conventional campaign hasn't worked and is certainly unlikely to work now so why not keep dismantling convention? The more he separates from the politicians the better for his campaign.

I still think I'm voting for Johnson, but this election cycle is fascinating.

I believe it. Before this election began, Donald Trump was a outspoken, businessman, billionaire (maybe), celebrity who was most well known to the public for being the guy on Apprentice that said "You're fired". And a year later, he actually has a really good shot at becoming the President for the most powerful nation in the World.

No experience, a substantial lack of funds compared to his competition and no support from politicians of either party around him. And on election day, there will be 50M + people who cast a ballot for Donald J Trump. Fascinating indeed.

The average IQ of said populace would be a great way to establish the "Mendoza Line" for "intelligence" (or lack thereof)...

The only comparison I can remotely think of is Andrew Jackson's campaign. When he ended up in the White House he invited everyone to come party with him and they nearly destroyed the White House.

It will be interesting to see if Trump releases his tax returns.

There is zero reason for him to release them. He's bucked "the norm" since day one and his contingent has backed him for doing it.

Nothing in those returns could help him in the slightest...only hurt him and his brand.

His contingent alone won't get him the White House.

The only people still voting for Trump are the backers he has had from the beginning. He had done nothing since getting the nomination that has attracted anyone new to his platform.

Agreed.

The entire image is based on perception. Vast swaths of riches and an ego he has marketed behind it.

It's a carefully cultivated image, and he heavily guards the singular thing he bases everything off of...his perceived wealth.

if you want to look at just states that are assumed "safe" or where the 2+ most recent polls have shown a double-digit lead for Clinton, the map looks like this:

None of those deaths are "linked" to Clinton.
They are just people who died. That's all.

I wonder who will crack first?
Huma Abedin or Cheryl Mills?
That October surprise is going to blow up everything.
Guccifer 2.0 just released cell numbers and e-mail addresses of over 200 Congressional Dems along with an e-mail from Pelosi's personal PC - just to show a sample of what he has done.
The pressure is building...

Another example that Trump and his supporters haven't read or understand the US Constitution. Sad!

But, but, but they're terrorists... Suspected terrorists don't deserve rights. They're terrorists. I'm sure the definition of "terrorist" would change under a Trump presidency.

96% of the money the Clinton's donated went to the Clinton Foundation.
Nothing wrong with that, right?
