One card day for me. The Trout looks great, the Mays is a easy pass for me

Is Siff Mays the first card to include the player's zodiac sign?

So bomb.

At $5k I am definitely not in the target demographic for this piece.

I saw these last night, and I haven't decided yet if I'm the target audience for any of them.

I think I'll sit this one out.

It feels like he dropped the autos last night with ridiculous prices to make people feel like his Willie drop is momentous.

The Ultimate Hand Embellished Willie Mays will be a $10K card if Siff has to color in all of his icon doodles.

$250 for a Jeter #'d /101 is not at all ridiculous.

I wish he had added the color to the original. I do like the original Mattingly but love the added color even more.

Agree, if you like the black signature. Up to $5K (for 3), with 36 available at $1K is pushing it. It's around 2X what Ermsy and others are charging.

The embellishments look nice, though.

Providing an estimated ship date would have alleviated some anxiety but again these artists and their staff may be new to handling hundreds of orders at a time.
Yea, they got ahead of themselves and didn't have the logistics planned out.

IDK if they were planned prior to P2020, but based on the delays, i'd guess they weren't. I'm also not sure which companions were 1st or when they were released, but the earliest ones i can remember were Cartoon Clemente and money bear. I know the fanny packs were spur of the moment, so it makes sense why they took so long and it should have been expected imo.

I'm going to guess that they didn't anticipate anywhere near 50k+ print runs.

But that should be a good problem to have that they should have been able to afford to do something to remedy with all that upfront money.

I realize it’s heresy to degrade anything 52T but 51B Mays is likely a Top5 card for me all-time. It’s gorgeous and for Topps to bungle that decision is...we’ll to be expected.

I hear ya. I love the 51 Bowman set and think that Mantle is nicer than the 52 Topps. Blasphemy, I know...
