cards were marked received on 8/8 and shipped out 9-19. It was an 11 card economy order. There were delays in research then a delay in encapsulation as they did not have the correct holder in stock for my cards.

I will say this, when I called or texted I got essentially nothing from customer service, no answers or follow up, just was told to wait and there's nothing i could do. When I posted a comment on instagram the social media team reached out and they were MUCH more helpful and actually followed up with me on things. Arthur and Allison from the social media team were great to work with and moving forward I will communicate directly with them if I need customer service.
At $13 per card there are some cards I will grade with CGC.

Hey everybody,

I wanted to create a list of all the statuses that show up when you download the CGC submission detail. I tried looking at my latest sub several times a day, but it moved through GEI so fast I couldn't capture most of the statuses. Feel free to add on if you remember/see any of the other statuses on your submissions.

Scheduled for Grading
- Verified
- Label Printed

Grading / Encapsulating / Imaging
- Quality Check

Quality Control / Finalized
- Final Billed

From CGC - "Turnaround times reflect the estimated number of working days to complete a submission delivered to our facility today"

If you ship a card out when it says 5, then during shipping it changes to 10, it will be longer. They should just keep it at 30 days for bulk. If you get it back in 10, you will be super happy.

The advertised turnaround times compared to what they are doing is way off. My order arrived 8/8 and they were at 8 days, they then lowered to 5 days, now they are at 15 days. Meanwhile my order arrived back yesterday. The other part is they take about a week from the time the package arrives until they consider it "received".
Just be transparent and put it at a month. I am going to pay the extra dollar and use SGC for 5-10 business days and generally a higher resale value.

Agreed. I'd be much more satisfied with an under-promise/over-deliver model.

It isn't an extra dollar, it is an extra $6 to $7 for SGC. Almost double the price for SGC with an inferior slab.

I guess it would depend on service. To send the economy service to CGC its currently $13 for the rest of the month, whereas its normally $14. That same service would be $15 a card with SGC.

If you are bulk grading with a membership and getting CGC for $8-$9 a card then i completly understand. The average person that is not paying for a yearly membership is not getting that price..... that's more comparing apples to oranges.

Economy is $11.70 with 10% discount. It would be silly not to get premium membership. $135 for $150 of grading credits.

Order is in the mail. 30 cards for $300 including shipping both ways, can't get a better deal right now.

Just beat the deadline for the Bulk special by shipping out 25 cards. That pricing makes building sets on their registry at least somewhat tenable.

Only 12k sports cards? After new vintage holders (not that they get really any vintage at all) and cheap special. Yikes!! They really are just an after thought for the sports card community. I haven't looked at the overall numbers. All the grading companies are down this month from that pic.

Fine with me! 60% the price of SGC for a better slab and decent turnaround times. The cards also don't have trouble selling if you send quality stuff. Unfortunately people send them a bunch of garbage because of the price and then complain about how they can't sell the slabs.

I really think more vintage collectors should use CGC. Lower graded cards sell by eye appeal and not the slab they are in. I will be sending in some of my 1952 Bowman to get reslabbed soon. The plastic crimped bags bother me a lot.

I sent some cards in a couple of weeks ago. They were delivered Monday, September 23rd, but still haven’t been entered into the system. I thought that maybe the hurricane had closed them down for a couple of days, so not sure how long that should take. Should I call them?

Did you check the Confirm Package Delivery with your tracking details to see if it is in the warehouse?

Yes, thank you -I checked and it did say that they had it - about how long does it usually take to be entered into the computer? I’ve sent other orders in and it only seems to take 3 or 4 days.

No idea about current times right now. If it doesn't get checked in by early next week I would send them a message. They seem to respond decently, but the departments don't communicate well between each other.

Showed as delivered. I suspect it will be another week to 10 days before it is opened and entered into the system.
