I think it’s 25 per for the low number stained glass, but closer to 50 for the ext stained glass.

Came here to see if anyone else had noticed this. There definitely seems to be more of the EXT stained glass - I spot checked about half a dozen names and they all had more of the EXT versions listed / sold on eBay.

I finally picked up a box from my LCS and pulled a Ted Williams base stained glass mini in the 2nd or 3rd pack. First time hitting one, so I'm pretty darned thrilled!

Every two months I open up something from my sealed product collection and today I ripped a "2002 Allen & Ginter" hobby box.

My three hits:

I saw a guys list a bunch of rare redemptions on ebay. He cracked a case that was absolutely loaded! It had 2x De Niro red Inks, Hart Red Ink, Hart Black Border, and De Niro Black Border. I bought both De Niro Red Inks from him. He had them listed in a single listing. Wish I had this happen before just buying the De Niro Black frame. Guess I'll just redeem it and sit on it or trade it. I'm very excited about the De Niros. I was wanting to land two of them and extremely thrilled I actually landed two red ink ones. Sucks Topps stacked that case so much but realistically even if the wealth was spread around it'd have only increased my chances of pulling one naturally by like .001%.

How many have you got so far or plan to get in total?
Are you going to rip them all?
That would be an awesome video to post if you had a bunch to rip.
If you do rip them, hopefully you get a few nice hits.

Certain way to go broke. Jabs put up a video a few years opening a lot of 2021 Ginter rip cards and …. It’s painful.

Not really

They go up BIG TIME in value over the years

I got some that are worth over 1000 (5 Ohtani unripped rc)

A lot of the mini rip have tripled in value

I have a ton of 2006-2010 rip cards that have a real good prem unripped

I have a Francisco Alvarez RC single rip card that I'm still sitting on. Not sure what to do with it. My Barry Larkin rip (Ripken mini) and Fred McGriff triple rip (Miggy stained glass, Trout and Alonso minis) were an easy decision though.

I'd think with the rookie RIPs they are best to hold--figure 30-40% get ripped..you have a very limited RC of a potential star player from a set that people do collect..sucks that they upped the print run to 199, but still very limited once you account for the number that get torn..I have an Alvarez as well, and a Riley Greene that I plan on holding on to..

I love ripping rips - there are plenty that I wouldn't rip - but I've had some good luck.

4 Red Ink Autos /10 - Trout, Acuna, Alonso and Marc Summers

1 Wood mini - Robinson Cano unfortunately.

I would say I've ripped somewhere around 30-50. Some were pulled myself. Others were bought secondary. I just like to raid the cheap ones. The less desirable players.

I've also ripped just one triple rip, from 2022, and it was one of the lucky 3 stained glass rips - trout, nolan ryan, ketel marte.

I would never rip, say, an Acuna or Ohtani, etc.

I also wouldn't rip any older ones. More recent years are more plentiful and affordable.

Either way. It's a lot of fun. If you're willing to risk money on opening wax every now and then, what's wrong with going a little further?

Side note. Funny thing is, I used to not rip them. I was building a collection of unripped. Sometime in 2020 I was just really bored and decided to rip one. It ended up being the Trout red ink. After that it was over.

Was doing a search today for Non-Sport autographs from 2022 A&G

Has anyone ever seen a Martin Sheen/Charlie Sheen dual auto from this set? Like, ever? Not an IP TTM auto, but an actual live, pack pulled authentic dual auto?

Topps didn't just make that up, did they?
