One run against one of the worst pitchers in baseball seems right. Fire Cashman, anything less we have bigger problems.

Lol, Kay is the ultimate optimist. Before the season started and even a few months into the year, he was adamantly stating that this team would finish first in their division. He claimed their roster was loaded with talent and that Tampa had supposedly taken a step back, Boston was not that good and Toronto was too young. He could not have been more wrong smh

Cashman is the one in charge of the whole operation and he's been doing a sh**ty job for years. This is the best roster he could put together with the second highest payroll in baseball? And look at the piss poor developmental staff he's hired at every level. Most of their young "stars" are regressing badly after having some initial success (Gleyber, Gary etc). He's got to go and his whole staff need to be kicked out the door along with him |

Looks like I won't be spending any money on a Topps Yankees post season set this year.

The love Boone was giving Sanchez in the post game conference last night because he hit a solo home run after being the cause of 3 losses the week before because of his crappy defense is just sickening!
![]() At least they won and gained a game to get close again to tease we fans some more.

I am so scared of the Yanks making the WC game and Cashman chalks it up as a successful season...

Now it seems his moron Son and Cashman think a successful season is barely making it to the Wild Card and being bumped from the playoffs first round.

The reality and what really sucks is that if they did make a nice playoff run all the criticism we put out there to make changes goes away.

See this post you just made is how most of us fans feel and with that attitude can we really say anything positive if they do win a couple of playoff series.

Don't worry, they're not making it to the one game WC play-in. Even if they do, they're not beating Sale or Robbie Ray. The fact that they barely scratched out a win yesterday against last place Texas who has allowed the second most runs in the AL tells you all you need to know. Wouldn't surprise me if they lost the next 2 against them LOL smh

Heard a clip from Kay's show yesterday where again he's still stating he refuses to believe this team that's "loaded with talent" might not make the playoffs. That if they all played to "the back of their baseball cards" this team is too good to miss the playoffs; they have too many players with "long proven track records". What has he been watching for the past 150 games? What players with "good track records" is he talking about?
Stanton is maybe the only one with a decent track record but he's several years removed from his MVP year and obviously too fragile. Judge had a great rookie year and then he's been injured every year until this year. Gary had a good season and a half start to his career and has been progressively terrible since. Gleyber also had a good start but he's become a zero (or negative) impact player the past 2 seasons. Gio hasn't done anything in his career aside from 2019 and has been terrible this year. Same thing for Luke, nothing up until 2019 and he's injury prone. Frazier who they made the starting RF when the year started, has proven nothing. Where are all the players Kay is talking about that have long proven track records?? Smh If they don't make substantial changes to this team, starting from the front office all the way down, we're gona be looking at another 4th place finish next year |

Agreed. No need to go back to the days of George, but at the same time, it'd be nice to know the owner at least cares.
