Yes if you're buying 1 the lose isn't big. Issue is the cheapest way is to buy 10 packs. If you bought 10 packs of say 50 cards you could be looking at a big lose not to mention the time to sell everything. I'm only saying anyone buying the high print runs should be doing so with the expectations of keeping the cards to collect. Anyone looking to possible resell later should only be buying sub 10k print runs.

Any other bad stuff going on we haven’t covered? You hear of Covid? That sucks.

why not just list the cards on ebay (or anywhere) for $25
People are in a rush to lose $5 rather than making $5
Topps sells these for $20.00 a piece whether they make 1000 or 100,000
If a buyer needs a shore Griffey, and no one had them less than $25.00, would that person buy it for their collection for $25?
Just silly, err I mean stupid, for sellers to give it away.

Yes but if those 1000 people want to sell their Griffey on ebay for $25 each then they would need 1000 people willing to pay that. There arent. So, sellers lower the price in order to bait someone into buying their card. If 999 of them are on ebay for $25 and 1 is $20, which one are you going to buy?

Yeah, I mean just buying the whole set from topps is ~7600. Now if you're doing 10 packs that's 150 per card so if you're looking to do that for all 400 that's 60k, very easy for people to get caught in a liquidity trap once you can't flip your cards for profit.

I agree, at least so far Mister Cartoon Clemente is the worst. We haven’t seen what Shore and Fucci are going to do. I will pick up the Thiele, I like his cards.
