The pitching and hitting definitely stepped in this one to look like the team that has won all of those games. Hopefully it carries over today and that was the beginning of the ending to the funk they have all been in.

NYPD is looking into a drone that was seen over Yankee Stadium during the game. Maybe the Red Sox hired Belichick to come up with a new sign stealing scheme for them.

Yes they do but they also did it in the second game double play with one out in the tenth to lose 4-3. Although they suck it just shows other teams also can’t hit in the same situation.

I heard or read in the Toronto thread there was bad blood between Bo and Vladdy. I think it stemmed from one of them refusing to participate in the celebration.

I won’t post in the Red Sox thread right now but I do read it, seems like somebody was over emotional about Matt carpenter’s success, why pick on him he seems likable enough. I mean you can pick on Gallo, Donaldson and Higashioka and I probably would’ve agreed but that members take on Carpenter was way off.

Well, he did just murder the Sox last night. That tends to put people off, and I can see people saying "oh, he's just a flash in the pan" out of spite. Whatevs.

As the weird person I am I actually watch a lot of the press conferences on mlb.tv the next morning there is one constant I am realizing, if the Red Sox lose they usually won’t have Cora’s presser whether they lose a heartbreaker or get blown out. Now it might be that mlb.tv chooses not to show them when they lose but I just wanted to hear his take on the game nothing more nothing less.

I agree, but I understand why they still do it. Team building shouldn't go ahead just when the team is winning.

Sounds like he's suggesting Carpenter is roiding which is pretty funny coming from the team that had Manny and Ortiz; the man who had one of his greatest season ever at the age of 40. Talk about a fraud.
