I mentioned they should be going up a few days ago. A couple people mentioned otherwise.

Soto will be drawing social security before he ever wins a HR or RBI crown.

Something I think about...
I have a ton invested in Acuna. If his prices ever tank, it will be sad for the balance, BUT it will mean that I will buy a metric ton of his cards for cheap and put them all in a giant Scrooge McDuck vault. Even if he doesn't turn out to be what most of us think he will, I will always remember his first few seasons and what joy he's brought me watching him play. He single handedly reignited my love of collecting baseball cards. I'd gone from serious collector in the 90's to a dabbler for years before his rookie cards started coming out.
Having said that, he is not going to tank, and he will put up HOF numbers. He may even be the first president not born in the states.

Perhaps, but he already has a WS ring and a batting title so he’s off to a good start.

Who's Soto? Is he that guy that does that weird dance and looks at the pitcher like he's marooned on a desert island like in those old Bugs Bunny cartoons? This thread is for talking about guys under 30.

Not really. Don't be so sensitive. The elderly need love too. You can continue to collect Soto and root for him. I collected and rooted for Julio Franco well into his mid 40's. I will most likely continue to root for Soto well into his mid 40's as well. That will be here in a few years, and he will fade away, just like Julio did. We will all look back and say "Remember that old guy that everyone thought was young?" He isn't fooling me. My sister has a picture of him at an Aerosmith concert in 1992. He had a hat on with dark glasses, but you can tell its him.

Yes!! This is perfect. Let’s remember what joy we get from not only watching his immense talent but also collecting his cards. Well said, sir!

Man. I miss me some Julio. Makes my top 10 all time Braves list handily. He and I have a mutual friend and as recently as 4-5 years ago I was told he was still talking about a comeback. That ship has sailed now, but if there's anyone that could have done it, it would have been him. He'd probably still be swinging the heaviest bat in MLB and using the batting stance he was taught by Mr Miyagi too.

PErsonally, ID rather have those subs as a 9.5 than a psa 10. You could pay more for a psa 10 and have it be a lesser quality card.

Exactly my thoughts. Doesn’t get too much better than that. Maybe I’ll sell some lesser stuff and pick up a 10 for the set. Thanks for the reply.

Bat Downs haven't caught fire anymore...what happened?

If this was Trout, they'd be through the roof right now...where is GaryV?
