Speaking of which, quarter #3 is coming to a close in about 2 weeks, so all the store owners shouldn't forget to use their eBay credit for supplies.

I don't even know what to buy this time. I'm pretty well stocked on boxes and super stocked on envelopes/bubble mailers.

Or just buy and then sell those items on eBay.

Do they have anything that would be similar to the BCW 300ct or 400ct cardboard boxes?

Will the 6" x 4 3/4" x 4 3/4" Boxes hold a graded card wrapped in bubble wrap?

I really need to get better about selling cards under $20 and just wanted to confirm a few things with some of you who have more experience selling using standard envelope.

Is there an envelope you'd recommend? I watched a couple YouTube videos and it looked like guys were using a cardboard (media maybe?) envelope?

What have you guys found in terms of thickness of card you can sell? 130-180 pt patch cards okay?

Lastly, have you found it worth your time to list cards under $20 using ebay standard envelope?

I appreciate any help.

I use either a #10 or #63 3/4 envelope.
I print on the envelope (laser printer)
sleeve, and cardsaver, wrap card in packing list.
1oz rate....for thicker cards 3oz rate as the added cost covers the non machinable rate

I appreciate all that info. Good to know about the 3 oz rate covering that cost.

I watched this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8Y2vIhXJjw

Does that all seem to track based on everyone's experiences?

I would not use top loaders or photo mailers......they are to rigid

I use a #10 envelope with a Cardsaver offset to one side so the middle bends.

Penny Sleeve
Card Saver....only use top loaders for thicker cards when I bump the weight to 3oz
Team Bag...some use painters tape, I just find it easier to put it all into a Team Bag
Place into the regular letter size PWE, offset to the right side as you look at the label, tape it down to the inside of the envelope so it won't move around.
I print and tape my labels to the flap side of the envelope to seal it up.

When I first started with PWE's, long before the ESE program, I would center the card saver into the envelope. After I had a few envelopes returned to me because the sorting machines would fold the edge of the envelope onto itself, and apparently that made it too thick....I started to offset as mentioned above so that the edge of the card saver stops the envelope from folding over onto itself....never had that problem again.

Top loaders are all I use and I’ve had no issues. I use a #10 and fold a piece of paper into thirds. I user painters tape to secure the top loader to the paper on one end so that the middle will bend and the card does not slide around in the envelope.

It's all dependent on your po. Many people have experienced issues that disappeared when they switched to card savers.

We use 6x4x2 boxes for graded cards wrapped in bubble wrap and can get about 4 in one box. Your box dimensions will be plenty big.

Trying to ship a 12 card order and it's not letting me use eBay Standard Envelope - never had this happen before. Anyone else seeing it or is it something on my end?

Did you adjust the weight from 12oz down to 3oz?

Was it 12 single cards, or a 12 card lot?

12 singles - yep to 3 oz and dimensions are accurate as well.

My last larger lot was 9 single cards, but it was early last week and I was able to use the ESE option.....I hope they didn't change something.

So...this is annoying.

The order value before my discounts was $50.88 - so even though the actual value of the order is $27ish, the order does not qualify for ESE.

Which is pretty ridiculous because if the order was lost, the insurance would only cover the $27 value of the order. Not sure that this happens very often, but definitely seems to be a glitch in the system.

So what is going on with the PIP claims now? I had a refund for INR on Sep 20 and did the claim as the item was in limbo since Sep 4. Usually had it back within 24 hours

Couldn't tell you. Just filed a request the other day and got paid within 48 hours. You may want to contact them.
