Strange that I've seen almost no Striders posted.
Let's change that: There ![]() . . . |

I'm not sure if it's funny or sad that I know the exact Aaron Ashby pitch you're likely referencing. Elevated Frisbee 97 MPH Two-Seamer (with tail). I bookmarked that tweet to show my pops (also a big fan of starting pitchers) because it just seemed to defy physics.

Really enjoying this thread! Also a bit surprised that only one Shane Bieber card has shown up, as part of a group photo with other players. Time to change that!

I fully acknowledge that is a fantastic stash of a now underrated pitcher who has less RC choices than almost anyone in the game.

Love me some Biebs! I don’t have the biggest or best stash, but I made sure to add a few to my collection.

Agree on all points. Very happy with these, though I bought them when the market was pretty high, so if I had posted in that "heaviest bags" thread, one or more of these might have made an appearance. Good thing I'm not planning to sell now!

What you have of Bieber is about similar to what I have of my own home team's best young pitcher---Corbin Burnes. |

Appreciate the deal, eye4talent. It was a pleasure to work with you. Thanks. This 1/1 is now in my personal Reds collection, and off the market for good. ![]() Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk |

I normally don't like Topps Holiday, but this year they look great and a Greene & Reds Holiday 1/1 is a special card! |

![]() I really only have large rookie stashes of 3 players: Biebs, Soto, and Zac Gallen. And I've sold off a lot of my Sotos. The Gallen stash is long on quantity but very short on quality. Almost all base cards from various sets. |

![]() I don’t have a great Bieber rookie. But before the market went downhill, I picked up a few of these second-year Sapphires. I had success with the Sotos from the set, so I figured OF COURSE people would go crazy for the equivalent card of a Cleveland pitcher. Speaking of Sapphires, I’m still hoping for Severino to have his breakout… ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Just thought I’d post an updated Burnes family photo for fun. Hoping he adds a 2nd Cy Young within the next few years. He’s definitely capable of it.

This is great. He is from the town I live in Bakersfield, CA. He quickly became the best player from our town, previously it was Colby Lewis Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

You guys remember when Jose Berrios was going to dominate the world for the next 20 years? Oh man, I fell hard for him. Things haven’t gone as planned, but man, when his slider is sliding and his curve is curving… it’s a thing of beauty.

The Blue Jays also fell hard for him. And so far, it looks like they’ve fallen on their face. But there’s still hope. I remember when I first saw a highlight of his curve and thinking there’s no way anybody will ever hit this guy. Perhaps he should follow the Lance McCullers approach and throw his breaking ball a majority of the time. Especially since he had a .349 BAA on his fastball last year. (Yikes!) What’s wrong with you Canning people? Let me guess: you’re also spending hundreds on Jose Uribe ‘90 Fleer cards.
