LCS pickup today. Owner gave me a great deal on it

Sure looks like a 9 to me. Will be resubmitting it

Love that. Don’t think I’ve seen it in gold Chrome.

Shohei needs to start hitting again...he's flailing away at the plate way too much lately. We need SHOBOMBS!

Nor have I. According to the Topps Now website, Chrome variations are listed as ultra-rare Chase Cards, and the print run for this card qualifies for additional chrome parallels /99 and /50...

The #'d /50 Gold happens to be the rarest chrome variation of this particular card, which is why I snagged it.

Buying at 60% for anyone making a reasonable and understandable decision to jump ship . Only going to get tougher from here.

Why do Ohtani's Heritage Action Variations go for so relatively cheap? Is it because there are two of them?

Thanks for the info - that's a slick card.

Mailday! Nothing too fancy, but happy to have consolidated the PC.

Once again, I’ve got a question, but it’s not about my PC this time it’s financial. Which one’s better for the long run: Employee Green Auto 2018 PSA 10 or Blue Wave Refractor Auto 2018 PSA 10? I personally like the Employee because I love the picture so much, but I’m curious what most people think.

Great pickups, congrats! I have a soft spot for the employee autos personally, but as far as long term value goes I have no idea.

Collectors seem to strongly prefer blue, despite green typically having a smaller print run. And if you’re thinking about this from the financial/investment rather than the collector or hobby perspective, whichever card requires less explaining will be more attractive to buyers. Do you need to explain what the employee auto is, why it’s significant? Will potential buyers have seen the card before?

Wow tough one there...but ya I prefer the Employee because the card just looks so good and the auto blends in perfectly with the background.

Is this sale fishy or real? Why would this card sell for cheap when another one of these - same grade - just sold for 15K?

Sold Oct 9, 2025 $9,700

Anyone here store their Ohtani slabs in a Pelican-style case? I’ve been looking at Case Club, Casematix, and other brands. Wondering if anyone uses these types of cases, and if you have a preference for a specific brand, why?

Thanks, mate! I love the Employee Auto so much because the picture is such a banger.

Thanks for your answer! You're right, people don’t know about the Employee, which is too bad, because I think this card and the Sapphire Auto variation are really beautiful.

I have a 40K+ collection and no Ohtani's. I was very late for the Ohtani party. I need to sell some big stuff to get into him now.

Those look cool, sturdy too. But I think I like the latches on the Pelican style better.
