Nice collection!

It's crazy how all this stuff was relatively affordable a few years ago and now it's enough to buy a luxury car or halfway to a townhome down payment in 2025. As much as we tell people to hold, these cards have life changing potential and all of it should be considered.

Thanks, and I agree. A down payment is on my list of things I would sell Ohtani for and just a few years ago that felt like a pipe dream. Now it's actually realistic which feels surreal

I had to sell most of my Ohtanis for financial reasons. Sucks to see the gains I missed out over the last several months but I'm still a huge fan and might even buy back in on some mid-end Shoheis in a few years (if I can still afford 'em). Also, selling them put me in a much better financial position than I was in previously so I'm not really even that regretful about it.

I did keep a #700 Gold PSA 9 and the 18 Transcendent Japan /50 with him and Ichiro on it. Refused to part with those two.

My Ohtani buying for the near term is just gonna be value box hunting at local card shows to fill up the topload binders.

There’s a blue wave PSA 10 on Heritage now. With this two sales you found, this should round out the newest comps.

I’m guessing it lands in the $32-$35k range.
