It's no different than Josh Allen in futbol. I've been putting my money where my mouth is and layering wagers dating back to late december.

It would take a catastrophic OKC slide or season ending injury for him to lose it.

I will die on this anthill.
And Vegas has Lakers as 2nd best in the West so why no avatar bet on Lakers going further than Nuggs?

I'm allowed to love the tracker and to also realize the voters are morons. It's ok to have one foot planted in objective reality.

I don't bet on NBA MVP so no worries.

I'm not a tracker guy and I barely bet on sports anymore (and when I do it's mostly 1-2 dollar bets) but I bet Jokic at +250 to hedge my SGA preseason bet.

I have Jokic at +450 and Shai at +250 so I have no reason to bet MVP anymore

You’re crazy if you’re gonna lay the wood with Shai right now

I have no qualms with modern day advanced analytics. It's a useful tool when making evaluations. But it's simply a component.

What I do take issue with is people that continually pound on it like it's gospel. The world is not purely binary. The game is not purely binary. Emotions are not purely binary. And the judges are not purely binary.

Feels like every time we're debating Yoker's annual MVP chances, the argument reverts back to 'IBM Watson or you're wrong.' Nahhh, fam.

I will continue to try and capitalize on this computer-generated disconnect whenever I can, and hope more money pours in on Yoker so I can add more to my Shay positions without the crazy juice.

Probably not happening though.

You should already know my vocalized position on the post-trade no-defense-strat Fakers. MAVS4L.

Semi related fun fact: Odds of Fakers being 2nd are better than Yoker winning.

I don't know of any current futures market where you can wager on select conference rankings, but if I could...I'd definitely be shorting by mortgaging my neighbor's double wide.

Always down for a Mavs avi wager tho. HMU LMK.

Fakers always win the 1h battle against Denver. Always.

We'll see if Lulu can ensure they don't get ran out the gym in the 2nd half stretch.

He seems to be in a groove...even though I detest this chuck and pray kinda gameplans...

25 combined 3 pointers in 1st quarter...

Same can be said for the 76ers against the lowly Nets..

6/24 through almost 3 quarters, including Embiids embarrassing 0/5...go to the rim you idiot

Philly losing off a last second putback is peak Philly.

Luka looking like himself again.

But what about the defense...smh

LeBron juiced for a run knowing he can ride that fresh meat to another Finals loss probably.

Why anyone would bet on Philly at this point is beyond me. Stockholm syndrome.

They're most likely better without him at this point. At least they came back to make it interesting. He's just so slow and rarely ever runs back on defense in transition. Maxey deserves better.

Hmm. Fakers just may break the cycle tonight. Feels like every time Denver makes a run LA pulls away again. They're doing a solid job of crowding Yoker tonight.

Yep. An OKC/LA conference finals. And I'm taking Luka/Lebron over Shai/JWill.

You're a brave man. Wish it were that simple. OKC's frontloaded everywhere with defenders 1-10.

This performance certainly didn't help to bolster Yoker's already dead MVP chances.

Looks like Jokic is the day washed up fat-boy of the day.

OKC, Cleveland, and Boston still run right through this Lakers squad.

They could get to the Finals, but would need help with the Thunder getting upset early or key guys dinged at the wrong time.
