I'm really glad I sold my base auto 2 days after release for $55...

I just keep telling myself that was the going rate at the time.

I think that's because Judge started last season as a 24 year old (turned 25 end of April)...where Acuna is starting this season as a 20 year old (he won't turn 21 until December). The earlier you start, the earlier a player can start accumulating those HOF stats. Acuna is also a bit more multi-dimensional than Judge...with better speed and defense. Judge has the big power and the Yankees fans. I think if Griffey Jr. had arrived several decades later, his Bowman Chrome and other rookies cards would be doing what Acuna's cards are doing. Also think Acuna is the closest thing to another Jr. at this point...and that the "generational player" tag belongs to Acuna instead of another jr.

Well that's the thing, when Judge went nuts his cards were far ahead of where Acuna is now which was scary.

Braves fans should feel good to know how sick their system is. Jones will always have more power, I don't see Acuna hitting 40/50 HRs in a season, but Acuna has a much better hit tool based on performance and everything we can read.

Nothing against Vlad, but at the same price I would rather have Correa.

Interesting thing on ESPN insider on how highly touted this kid is:

“ZiPS is projecting (Acuna’s) career WAR at 14 wins more than the second-place (rookie) ... ZiPS has projected only three rookies to get over the 50 WAR barrier: Mike Trout, Kris Bryant and Acuna."
