These are on ebay.. the other box, I'm just trying to pretend it doesn't exist for now.
Hide it in your closet or desk drawer. Out of sight, out of mind

Hit 10 Roberts in 21 boxes so I will take that.

Hit 3 Reds and 6 Autos including two buybacks.

Too much stuff to list out, long day of breaking, sorting, listing... everything is in my store if you are curious.

Overall, I still think these are well worth the rip in the $375/box range.
Wow that's why the bounty went up

I would be interested in base deGroms and Alonso as well as any Mets parallels that you or anyone else have picked up.

Already boxed it and stuck it in the back of my closet. I got some Series 2 hangers coming in tomorrow for the rest of the itch.

We’re they really SP? I thought it was just one collector hoarding TONS of refractors, creating a sort of false market scarcity.

Dude posted on the PSA forums and I always thought he was autistic or something. Wound up listing tons of them at the same time driving the market down.

There's at least 2 members here trying to collect all the base refractors...look at the BST and their threads....and also threads of people looking for base refractors of all the players on 1 team and then theres people looking for specific players for their player PC....I don't think there's a false market scarcity

This explains some of it:

https://www.psacard.com/Articles/Art...rn-sportscards

I was referring to a guy named Phil Gold. He hoarded a TON of the 1993 refractors, even for a while resulting in some of them being listed in publications as SP’ed.

He started this thread on the psa forums:

That’s true. He passed away a couple years ago and his collection was sold off in larger chunks on eBay.

Also some players hoarded their own and other collectors sought out some creating what was deemed “SP” but I believe the number was 241 copies of each refractor were made

That's interesting so in 1993 there were 241 refractors of each card and in 2020 there are only 50 of the "base" refractors and a total of 131 with all the colors.

I remember reading that. Wasn’t Andre Dawson one of the notable people who bought up several of his own?
