Hello
Thank you for the $25 deal on Sulu,
very happy to finally get this, been trying awhile.
Just wanted to let you know the way I've been paying for auctions is
to give the money to my friend who has a Paypal account (Davyd Titze) and he sends the funds through, this makes it faster for all. I have a perfect feedback score of 283 with no negative. I will be going over to his house sometime this week/weekend to give him the money to send ( I am on disability and it's a bit hard for me to get around and over to his
house right away) I hope you will find this acceptable (the transaction should be done by this week or early next week). Please let me know if this is ok.
Thank you and have a good week

I don't see much issue with it, even though you will have to wait a little for payment. I find that people who at least communicate with me like this always follow through. That being said, if they tell you to send to another address different from what is on paypal, I would strongly be against doing that.

make sure you send it to the address on the payment,

Am not sure that you can actually have another pay an Ebay invoice through Ebay without the account being connected though without your email address which Ebay no longer gives to buyers. Has he asked for your email address yet? If he has not then I don't think his friend would really be able to pay for it.

That was my concern, is there any risk giving his buddy my email for paypal (if he asks for it which he presumably will)? Will it violate seller protection receiving payment from a third-party?

These drive me nuts when people buy and then want to change terms. A heads up beforehand goes a long way.

As long as you hip to the address provided to you with the payment you should still have the same protections.

Went out today and hit a couple of stores I on' get to very often. Picked up4 decent shirts for 1.00 each. Had an Armani that looked brand new that I was going to happily pay 1.00 for, but when I got to the register I saw a tear from the elbow to the wrist on one of the sleeves..(DAMMIT) that was a homerun shirt if the tea is not there

Also picked up a couple of Tobasco ties for 50 cents each and about 6 still sealed VHS movies. I have toned don my buying of them to either horror movies, old wwe or sealed ones unless I now its a good one.

I've listed a few things so far this morning, and noticed the free relist option is gone completely. Anyone else see the same? Yesterday it was there for the one free relist...

They have been reported to be phasing it out.

The current 100 free auction style per day ends Tuesday the 21st. My sales have slowed too, but it started slowing before the current promo.

Sales slowed here too but it might have to do with my lack of listing new stuff.. only $5 this week but $880 for the month (mainly 4 large sales)

My option is still there for one. I did notice that yesterday that ebay has reduced the discount on flat rate bubble mailers. $5.35 before now $5.70.

Now that sucks. I wonder if they changed any other shipping methods.

I paid 5.43 today for a Padded Flat Rate. Its not Ebay thats doing that the USPS recently changed the discounts that are given when purchased online.

Some people are just unreasonable.

I'm curious to see if this shows up as a defect or not.
Defect showed up today in my seller dashboard. I guess I will call tonight and see if I can get them to take it off. I bet they won't do anything about it. Even when I can get somebody on the phone that I can communicate with, I usually end the call more frustrated than when I started.

There is just no logical way to count a defect when the buyer had his item in his hands in 3 DAYS over a holiday weekend. Ebay even showed the estimated delivery being Oct. 16th.

If the estimated delivery day was the 16th then it should be removable. Here is your ammo to use when you call.

Defect removal policy

Automatically removed

Automatically Removed

We automatically remove the defects caused by the reasons listed here. You may request the removal of these types of defects if they aren't automatically removed.

The buyer didn't pay for a purchase and an unpaid item case is recorded against the buyer.

An eBay Money Back Guarantee request or PayPal Purchase Protection case is ruled in the seller's favor.

The defect was the direct result of an eBay site issue or an eBay program error.

eBay takes action against a buyer for activity that violates the Buying Practices policy.

eBay or PayPal instructs you to hold a shipment or takes action to cancel the transaction.

eBay can determine through valid tracking that the defect was the direct result of systemic delays in shipping or communication. Examples include: wide-scale shipping carrier delays, items stuck in customs, or power outages due to extreme weather. Actual qualifying events are listed on our announcement board.

Here is those buying practices.

Buying practices policy

under the abusing buyer protection

Not allowed

Not allowed

Claiming you haven't received an item before the estimated delivery date has passed

Claiming you haven't received an item when it has arrived

Claiming an item isn't as described in the listing when the item condition is consistent with the listing description

Opening an eBay Money Back Guarantee request or PayPal Purchase Protection case:

When you have already received a refund from the seller or reimbursement from your payment provider

When you haven't paid for an item.

As retaliation against a seller following a previous dispute

Threatening to open an eBay Money Back Guarantee request or PayPal Purchase Protection case against a seller in order to get a discount or additional goods and services, when the item arrived in the described condition

A pattern of excessively opening eBay Money Back Guarantee requests or PayPal Purchase Protection case

My latest sales over the past week. My smaller stuff slowed way down due to the fact that my listings had ended without relisting, and I had no promo to use. So I started a store and listed 150 items. Big step down from 600.

The jerseys I got at 8.33 a piece stems from a huge buy I did two weeks ago at the flea market. A seller had 14 jerseys hanging. I gave them a quick glance, and quickly hit him with a 100 dollar cash offer. He was resistant to sell, but couldnt pass up the chance to unload em all. He did keep two. One a chargers jersey of a player he liked as a kid, and a second one that I cant remember who it was, but I do remember it was the grubbiest of the bunch. 12 Jerseys for a hundred bucks. Best big hit yet.
