It's not too late for those on the sidelines.

Ohtani is 100% the MVP if him and Guerrero both finished at this pace for the rest of the season. It wouldn't even be close. Ohtani's got higher injury risk is the x factor

I completely agree! That is why I found it interesting...this is not an opinion...it is Vegas odds which are normally spot on.

I’m gonna go to Yankee stadium tomorrow and the day after.
Will see him DH and pitch!

Haven’t bought the tickets though.
Contemplating if I should get an outfield seat for the extremely slight hope of catching a home run ball (assuming that he hits one!), or see him closer at 2nd level infield or something.

The one time I went to the new Yankee Stadium it was against the Angels as well, we were in the Legacy seats directly behind the visitors dugout. I would highly recommend that, you can see some of the antics in the dugout, and got to watch them in the on deck circle. That is way better than the minute chance of maybe catching a HR, but then not getting the great views of the at bats.

Those seats are gonna be too expensive for me lol
But I'll see what the best option will be within my budget.
Thanks for the suggestion!

Sorry, I have no idea what they cost, the trip and game was a gift from a guy that liked to do stuff for us at work. I would assume I could t afford them either than, I forgot, it’s Yankee Stadium so the prices are ten times what other stadiums would be.

I still think it would be better to see the at bats closer than maybe catching a HR. Especially for the day he’s on the mound, I would prefer a better view from that as well.

Yeah, behind the dugout is usually very expensive in Yankee stadium.
I only get to go to those seats when I get tickets from clients and whatnot related to work.
But like you say, they are great. Servers come to take your food/drink order and all.
I believe you also get access to the club lounge with those seats, where stuff like popcorn, peanuts, soft drinks are provided for free.

I did just get two tickets for Wednesday on Stubhub, 2nd level infield for little less than $100 each.
Might have been able to find even a better deal if I waited till tomorrow, but just didn't want all the hassle waiting.
One thing I like about 2nd levels are that it's not too far from the field, yet get to have a good view of the entire field. Also no netting in the way of view.
That'll be good enough for me to see him on the mound (and bat of course).

Now I have to find a ticket for tomorrow.
Maybe I'll just get a similar ticket as the one for Wednesday.

RC autos can be had for an "okay" price still. There are many different options.

Is there any base cards or any brand (Bowman chrome, Topps chrome) you would buy at the right price point?

My main point was Ohtani is having a historic year and if you compare his base cards to Acuna, Soto or Tatis they seem cheap in comparison.
So it looks like there has been some upward movement in base cards lately! Anyone happen to have any estimated print runs for 2018 products that contain Ohtani other than S2 and update?

Not normally my style of card but these look pretty cool. Picked up a Blue and Gold. Print run is about 1000 of each color

Do you know what the print run is on the red fire?

Based on the pack odds, there's about 4000 total of the 3 colors. I just assumed the red packed hobby only would be double the others. So maybe 2000? Or maybe they're all closer in number? Blue was only in fat packs and Gold only in blasters
