Finally picked up the Beast #73, last remaining one I needed for the what if 1-81 set. Man that tier 3 was brutal even given the post-release comc flood. For a data point, paid $25.25 for the Beast. There is one left currently at $50.

I’ve also picked up a couple nice sketches from MM22 off of COMC. I loved this Iron Spider and might end up slabbing it.

I've had 5 offers within 2 days for a Battle Spectrum Red, all these COMC wise guys offering 50% below last eBay sold (and last sold was 1 week ago). I have one more BSG-R that isn't on COMC and was offered more than 75% off on ePack. I can't wait to get on hand and start getting legit offers.

I really wish the Galactus-Surfer BSG art didn't take up 99% of the card real estate. I love the art, but it left no room for any gem-iness.

I elite scanned the sketch above and boy do the colors really pop in the new scan… looks like a brand new card!

Man MM was a fun product. I spent waaaaay too much, but got some really cool cards, some I will keep, some to move. The sketches were a little meh for me though. It seems like the bar is much lower for this premier product where the few sketches I pulled out of other marvel products were generally stronger. Here are my sketches I got and you can see one of the FUW as a comparison.

Looks like prices are beginning to rebound already.
Canvas up, purples up etc. The Black Cat Purple I bought for $8 is now listed at $26 for the lowest COMC price.

I do think average sketch quality is down in this product. There are some absolute bangers but are rare. This was a trend for other recent UD sets as well such as Premier.

Sketch quality is always hit or miss in MM imo, 1sketch per box means lots of sketches = medicore quality on a lot of them. You can still get some really good ones but as mentioned there tends to be a lot of mid ones

That said, I really do like all of Joe Rubinstein's sketches for this set, especially yours ![]() They're all quickies but still contain a lot of style https://www.upperdeckepack.com/Tradi...kch&search=joe |

It’s true though we shouldn’t expect avg quality to be at the level of like Metal or MM XL where it’s like 1 in a case, if that. I shouldn’t be too harsh because I’m still seeing several I like. But more just from a totality standpoint.

On the note of ones that don’t break the bank but still are cool looking, a couple pickups….

Anyone selling any of their T4 base or variant covers on ePack? Trying to wrap things up on the achievements and trading has slowed down dramatically

The trading has definitely died down after the initial excitement and the number of unredeemed T4 cards left on epack is getting pretty low. Does anyone else think that they missed a big opportunity to get people to buy other cards by announcing a week/2 weeks earlier than release to maybe drive marvel buyers to the site and help clear their other sets. I feel like once this trading and sales are over for me, I will only be going back to the site if there is 75%+ off sales. Maybe there will be a resurgence when the first DC sets get released |
