The one area I felt could use some improvement with my first CSG sub was communication. I did not get an email when the order was received/entered or when it was shipped. I checked the sub tracker each day to find out what was going on.

Yes, for both shipments I sent to them I got an email from then stating the orders were received. The email will be from "csg submission acknowledgement (donotreply@csgcards.com)" and the subject will be "Your Recent CSG Submission". Attached will be a PDF listing the submissions they received.

Default Did they already raise price

I was just checking, wasn't bulk $8? and subgrades $5? Now I see $9/$7. & oh boy turnaround time is 111 days on bulk, is this accurate?

My 2 Bulk orders were received on 3/9/2021.

They were logged 2 days ago. The email I sent them a week ago and received back they stated they are about 2 weeks to process.

So I am expecting them to get busier.

I just sent in another batch, Bulk with no data entry, lol, their entry submission is so Bad. $10/per card no subs. I just took pictures of the cards so I can remember what was on it.

I just noticed that they have added a forum to the CSG site with a section to ask CSG questions - there was a question already posted and their CS did respond

they are definitely behind on their received date. customer service said they are working on the week of March 9 if I understood correctly. you can't change service level till it is received and have a small window to change levels. I am having to go on a unscheduled trip on about the time my one submission economy (40 day)would be shipping back if they stay on current track. they picked up on 3/22. my standard should be okay.
so according to them i could request to change when i see an e-mail from them. takes about a day to see if approved and a $15 charge. however, he did not know if the cards go into the back of the line or not or if the projected grading date would change. so, not much help.

but it i can't receive the package it goes back to them and they will then send back out for another shipping charge. so a worse case scenario not so bad

very friendly customer service rep. i expressed that they should address on their website that the received date is behind or post a completed through date similar to PSA. I did not get much of a response to that.

I would also reach out to the shipping service that will be bringing the package back to you. I have only had one package mailed back to me so far from CSG but I did not have to sign for it. It was left at my front door.

that's not good. i was understanding it had to be signed for. perhaps i can get it held at a FEDEX facility as that is the way it is coming back. USPS always ignores my HOLD and delivers anyways.

a lot depends on the actual grading and shipping date. i might be worrying about nothing but better planning than not

I haven't signed for a single one.

I know when I send out high $ items through USPS and use the click and ship I will insure and with adult signature required sometimes restricted delivery. I have always gotten back the name of the person who signed it. it costs extra for this service and never is left in the mailbox. UPS and FEDEX may not have the option but I would think they would. especially with the $ amounts involved. example below of USPS

CGC posts estimated turnaround times (currently 111 working days for bulk, for example), so I'd think CSG will be following suit soon.

This was a bulk (50) order with no subgrades

The 111 days is for their gaming cards, sports cards for bulk is currently 60 days

Anyone else get an email asking for your credit card number? I just got one that had my invoice attached but said there system lost the first 12 numbers of my credit card. Weird.

As I'm sure you will, call them and verify. I had to get a new credit card before they charged mine. They reached out to me to get it corrected.

Here's the email. It seems legit and scammy at the same time. I'll call them and sort it out tomorrow.

Are you able to see Marked as received on their website? I have a 50 card bulk order that was delivered per UPS on 3/9 but i've not seen any info at all appear under my submissions yet.

I have a 8 card economy order delivered on 03/12 per USPS and see nothing under my submissions on the website

If anyone gets a credit card email, they are legit. You'll have to print out the invoice and fill in the information to send back. They give you the name of the accountant to send it to. Weirdest interaction I've had on a grading submission but the customer service has been top notch so far.

FYI, I sent an email to confirm something with CSG, and got a response in an hour. This might be the first sports card grading company that’s ever responded to me this fast

The status will change to "received" when they officially take it from the PO Box to the grading storage, I guess.
