Sent in a bulk submission from Canada. Tracking says delivered on 3/8, yet I haven't received any notification yet from CSG. Hopefully this week.

BTW, I could have sworn it was only $5 per card to add subgrades. Now the website shows $10. Am I crazy or has it always been $10?

It's been 10 at least since I started submitting in Late February. Submitted another Bulk and Economy order today. 51 in the Bulk, 10 in the Standard.

I really, really like the ability to submit subs and no subs in the same Bulk order. There are 10-15 Bulk cards I put subgrades on for PC purposes (I don't know why, I like the detail).

I sent my first submission on day one and subgrades were $10 then.

Does anyone know of any group CSG sub pages/forums that have started anywhere? Did a quick FB search and didn't find anything.

I had an economy and bulk ordered delivered on 3.9 and entered into their system on 3.22. Seems they are getting a lot more cards sent to them.

Man, if they're already getting backlogged that's super disappointing. My order was delivered last week but no update on the site yet.

The more I see the slabs and labels, the better I like them - but not if they're gonna be just as delayed as PSA.

Because they haven’t entered your order into the system in a week (or maybe less) they are going to be as delayed as PSA??

My latest three subs took about 10 days to get entered into the system. Some of that probably is related to an uptick in orders but my guess is some of it is that they don’t have most of these cards in their system (by that I mean the specifics on the card, when you fill out an online sub most cards aren’t already populated) yet so creating them is probably part of the problem.

Sent subs to them and they arrived yesterday. Economy with subs. I found some interesting observations with closed auctions

Remember economy with PSA is $100 per card I think so $75 more than CSG

Not a lot of CSG slabs for what I have yet, but a luminance Zion sold for $197 PSA 10. A CSG TRUE GEM 9.5 did $192 thst is a huge win for CSG considering price to sub. CSG got smoked on a CSG 2003 LeBron bazooka comic $970 vs a good 10 of $1350.

I am evaluating other options for my lower end stuff. This is promising.

USPS PRIORITY 1-day

Not in the system yet.

Several of the cards I sent were not in their system so sure that will delay things. Considering the turnaround. If they are entered by early April thst will be a win.

That is one thing I think will be interesting. I also had to enter a lot of cards into their system. Wondering how that affects grading. Logically it should take more time to grade a card no one has seen before vs. one that’s been seen 100 times.

True about grading but lots of pop 1 cards likely. I have been searching closed CSG auctions to get a better idea about pricing.

When sending to CSG was a win
CSG 9.5 LeBron James Topps chrome refractor RC w/ 9 centering $98K
PSA 9 of the same card $50K

Centering likely would have gotten the CSG card a PSA 9.

Well I'm not making that leap yet - just expressing my concern. Looks like others are 15 days in without getting logged into the system.

The whole "estimated turnaround time" measured in days can be easily manipulated by delaying when subs are entered into the system.

CSG states on their website that Step 1 of 8 is "Receiving" where the cards are checked against submission paperwork and then logged into their system. They aren't doing research on the cards at this stage, simply checking paperwork and then adding a CSG tracking number.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still pretty much all in on CSG. But it seems like they are working that "Receiving" time frame a bit - let's see how it impacts the different types of orders. Maybe they're just delaying the bulk/economy orders because they can make up that time within their window?
