It’s an improvement on time he saves by not having to sign them anymore. I mean, that has to be his wife with the “new signature”, right?

He needs to sign my 50/50 set redemption already. Does Topps even release redemption reports anymore? Last one they released was on Dec 9th.

The red at least has an artsy style to it, whatever color that /25 is just looks terrible and not even penned by the same hand. Or is Topps having him sign so much he's also signing left handed?

Between 4/5 and 8/25 his signature sure did deteriorate.

Serious question - are you all actually not able to see that the one on the right is him switching to signing his last name "in English" i.e. the Latin alphabet?

Alright fellas, bear with me... I know I already posted that I acquired this card in early January (1 of my 2 card collecting goals for 2025) but I finally have it in hand today and had to share. I spent 15+ minutes scouring every millimeter of this card front and back under well lit, high magnification and she looks solid. I purchased through MySlabs, which I'll be honest made me hella nervous being graded authentic and fully expected this to arrive with some dent or other flaw that warranted an authentic grade. Sheesh, kinda stressful. Won't EVER do that again. At some point I need to consider what to do with it because authentic just ain't doing it for me, for now I can rest a little easier.

Anyway, fresh scan to share and now I gotta put her away...

I previously hinted at a big Shohei pick-up and I suppose this is as good of time as any... with Punctilious showing off some recent fire as well!

Courtesy of a certain fellow Mayoral member of this thread, I acquired this beauty. I unloaded quite a bit to obtain it but in the end, I am really happy with my decision. My collection already tends to skew red refractor and this really fits in with the rest. The 2018 Topps design is money and many flowers have already been said in its appreciation, so I wont go too far into that. However, I will say I appreciate how strong the red coloring really dominates the background. Really stunning, the color is. I also appreciate the textured wave design, giving the card added depth. It may be just me and how my taste will sometimes skew to the contrary, but green refractors, waves are awesome. I appreciate the opportunity to own such a card and needless to say, it's found a loving home! Thanks for looking!

Love that red wave. The only thing better than the card is collectors helping other collectors!

Thanks gentlemen! A little off topic here but couldn’t resist taking another pic with a different PC pick-up, George Kirby. Safe to say I have a type haha

I like your style!

That puts my Ohtani + Kirby red pairing to shame.

Nah no shame, as long as it brings joy, that’s still awesome. There’s always a level to the hobby for people to enjoy. Kirby is my favorite pitcher, outside of the GOAT that is Ohtani

Some absolute heat in this thread. Blue Bowman Chrome Auto and Red Wave!
I'm jealous!

Here's my latest Ohtani(and friend) pickup.

Ah no it’s the 2018 Topps Chrome Red Wave #150, courtesy of True Blue. Non auto but very pretty nonetheless
