Ok, maybe it will just fit. I'm only 6'3 though, those pant's seem like they're for someone 6'10. I am interested, I have a 4xl suns that I wear when it's above 30.

Anyone else record thrift hunters tonight? If you did have a question, they uploaded a photo of a book and it instantly told them how cheap it was selling for online. Pretty sure it was for an iPhone and I have android phone

And NES games like Super Mario 3 were $20. I can try other flea markets. I was just curious if this is common or if that flea market is just the exception.
Sometimes it is very hit and miss. You can find a seller dumping everything at a quarter a piece, or find another seller who is flipping stuff from thrift stores there. If you have a flea market that sells on more than one day over a weekend (like mine, which sells fri, sat, sun), start going all three days. You will notice a pattern as to what sells on what day. Mine, the dead day is saturdays. More sellers on friday, and a full house on sundays.

And if you see a pile of clothes, dig for deals. If you see stuff hanging individually around someones space, they are more than likely going to be asking too much.

Amazon will do that as well with their flow program, there are also several barcode apps that will do similar things. Problem is often you don't have tim to do that in stores or sales unless you are dedicating hours per store.

I have had nothing but headaches out of the GSP lately. In the past 5 days have had 12 items sell though it and all 12 have wanted to cancel because of the high shipping.

I had an Australian buyer that wanted me to re-invoice them because they thought shipping was free

I gave gave them a strike.

I'm up to 9 GSP sales, 2-3 are not yet arrived, but so far so good knock on wood. All but the one paid right away.

I think the problem is Ebay is not really explaining the fact that the additional shipping is being charged by and to Ebay not the seller.

Definitely, and that the buyer is responsible for any import and related charges and the seller does not control nor arbitrarily choose those amounts.

I had an idea that might help sales a little. I also might be overthinking things. lol Anyways, for BIN listings, I am wondering if it might help to end the amount in $x.98. Then it will come up first if the person sorts price + shipping lowest to highest. It might not come up first, but it might also not get buried in many items if the total is $19.98 instead of $19.99. Like I said, I may be overthinking things, but if it helps generate a couple sales a year, it becomes worth it I would think.

Pretty sure they see the shipping price upfront. Not sure why they would be surprised.

I have had a couple say the shipping changes after they make the purchase.

And another issue with the GSP.

Buyer buys 6 items and the GSP wants to charge them shipping for each individual item will not allow a combined invoice. So Ebay is expecting them to pay for everything individually and I will be the one who gets punished for it.

If that's the case then that is a horrible new system. Sold a few and never had a problem.

Yeah apparently eBay doesn't let GSP combine invoices... stupid stuff

Funny how the talk is about GSP, I came here to bounce this situation off you guys.

I just sold a Batman Playset (huge) it weighed over 5 pounds. I sold the item to a GSP buyer in the UK.

I price my shipping as if it's going to Los Angeles and KY is a closer zone than LA but I think only one zone closer. I ended up paying $6.88 shipping due to a $5.22 eBay shipping discount.

Why did I get such a big discount for this? Is eBay subsidizing some of the shipping for their GSP program to make the sellers want to use it more?

I sell a GSP once a week and haven't noticed a huge discount like this on any other items.

That maybe a glitch that worked in your favor. I called Ebay about this invoice mess apparently it is a technical issue not GSP, but he told me there have been tons of unusual issues occurring the past couple of days with stuff like this.

I have had several international buyers not pay for items purchased lately through the GSP. One lady emailed me and asked me why I changed the shipping price after she bought the item.

I have had two conversations with ebay customer service about it, and one rep told me that the buyer sees the total price including shipping before they hit BIN. The other rep told me that the buyer sees the shipping amount from Alabama to Kentucky, and only sees the international shipping/customs fees during checkout AFTER committing to purchase. I tend to believe the latter, since such a high percentage of buyers never pay for the items.

When it goes smoothly, I like the program, because it is more convenient for me, and increases the pool of potential buyers. More often than not, though, it is just a headache. I am considering opting out of it with my listings. It seems like it would be very simple for ebay to fix this, so I don't understand why they don't just do it.

Won't matter next month all items will be automatically part of the GSP if the item can be shipped internationally.

Had not heard this. Maybe ebay will get it's act together and fix the problem. They have to be getting tons of calls about it.
