Just finished the book. Although the message was good (never give up), I wasn't too impressed with the story. Just happy that the book includes Cena's autograph lol.

Going to start reading Carolla's book in the next few weeks (on my work commute) once I finish the book I'm currently working on.

Looks like prices have gone up on ebay. I was tempted to buy one at $99.99 several months ago. Had it on my watch list but forgot. But now I have zero interest. I lost all respect for this man.

My local performing arts center is having a signed memorabilia sale from artists that have performed there recently. There is a wide variety. Picked up a few items including a Dukes of Hazzard main cast member for $20. I’m not sure of how much shipping will add as I’m able to use Will Call pick-up.

There are usually more items but the Pandemic limited performances so much the last 2 years. Weird Al plays here in October so mark your calendar for next years sale…

I got 2x Alicia Keys from Premiere this week and unfortunately the signatures are identical (there are autopen dots as well). I am returning them for store credit and would recommend anyone here do the same.

I just received my Keys book and it is auto pen too! Matches exactly with examples others have posted on Facebook. Opened return request with Premier just now. Let's see what happens!

Yeah I told them why I was returning it -- which I considered that sometimes it's best to just say that you're dissatisfied and not say why. But I have a pretty large history with them so I figure I will be transparent and also will only ask for store credit instead of a refund. Still waiting to hear back. Very surprised though, last place I thought that would ship these.

Also, Waterstones finally responded to me about my Parton/Patterson autopen ... they are sticking to their guns despite my photo evidence of autopen. Oh well, last time I order from them. Here was their response:

How is it okay for companies to advertise a signed copy of a CD/Book/etc and send all of these fans autopen copies of an artists signature? Should be labeled as a copy of the artists signature.

Got John Cho's book today from Talkshoplive, I honestly forgot about it until I got a shipping notice, it was from back in January someone had posted it here. Signature is actually on a sticker that was applied to the inside page. Haven't seen any others to compare it too.
