What's everyone's opinion on the 2018 us1 sp white jersey ans ssp batting? Are they at their peak or is there a possibility of growth? Sp is at 2100ish and ssp I believe around 4000ish

I think you answered your own question with him not pitching last year. When the dodger world sees him pitch, there will be more parity, but a batting vertical card will probably always be at least a little ahead.

Question for my fellow Shohei fans - has anyone ever seen a 2020 Topps Five Star Shohei Ohtani jumbo patch auto? I’ve been looking for this card since rejoining the hobby and I have yet to find it. What’s even more incredulous is that there hasn’t been any recorded public sales in Card Ladder or any other resource I could research. I’ve seen some digital Bunt cards but that’s about it. I’ve seen other years but no 2020 and it’s been incredibly frustrating for me. The Autograph Jumbo Patches that year were limited to either 34 or 44 total cards so, while definitely limited, should at least have some kind of recorded history. Fellas- help me out!

Not Shohei, but same topic (ghost cards). I searched for 2018 Allen+Ginter autograph cards of Chris Hemsworth (him, Chris Evans, and Mikael Bridges had full-sized auto cards in '18 A+G), but it seems the Hemsworth card might not actually exist? I saw someone post a photo of a redemption card for Hemsworth on here, but have never seen a photo of the card or any recorded sales anywhere. I did find sales of Chris Evans and Bridges.

The Axl Rose autos from 2013 Archives and Allen & Ginter took years to finally get done. I do not know the current status of the Hemsworth cards.

I’m beginning to have my doubts the 2020 Five Star patch auto of Shohei actually exists. If B.O.’s finest haven’t recalled seeing or owning one, that’s saying something!
I’m sure Topps doesn’t want to admit when they fail to pack out certain cards, possibly for legal reasons, but it is incredibly frustrating.

If it grades over a 7, you're getting an upcharge to 3K value minimum. If it gems, I'm sure they will find a way to substantiate 5K+.

I tried to put together the 2017 Topps Tier One Dual Patch /25 relic set with the Judge RC card being the center piece of the collection.

Made it 90% of the way before realizing the Judge has never existed and most likely was never made or packed out. I've never seen it, its never sold, and not on the pop report at PSA, BGS, SGC...etc



Sucks that they are allowed to lie like that and get away with it. I would not have tried to build the set had I known it was incomplete and not packed out.
