To be honest, I would not purchase eBay sold mega boxes. Yes there are some honest sellers, but considering how easy it is to differentiate the hit boxes from the duds, I would just be satisfied with the first wave purchase I made. 12 boxes yielded 3 autos, 2 wanders and 3 Bart’s.

If they're a Target employee, maybe they got a discount. Could be they only paid like half of what the price on the box is. Not sure though. I know at Disney, employees get a discount. Then if you're a passholder, you get an extra discount on top of that.

It has yet to be proven even though everyone is running with that "story". I weighed all of mine before opening and there was a difference of 1 gram (about a 50/50 split). I opened the slightly heavier ones first and got the same number of hits as the slightly lighter ones. I did have one box that was heavier than all of the others and contained two hits, but from what I'm seeing those two hit boxes are an anomaly. So I suppose the few boxes that have two hits can be plucked, but I don't think there is any legitimate way to tell with the others.

Any box it will fit in....will almost always go priority with that many. UPS may be cheaper if it goes Ground. Box it up and take it there for a quote before going USPS.

Having minor leaguers and prospects autograph these cards and charge prices like they are already pros is absolutely insane. This is probably the equivalent of having G-League players in basketball autograph cards. I bet Topps could guarantee an autograph in every box and still make a killing. It's crazy how, prospecting in baseball is different from other sports.

I've said this before. It's not fool proof. The three heaviest all had hits. Two of the seven lighter ones has hits. If I buy a lot of 30 at Target and weighed them all, I could take the top 10 and likely have an 90% hit rate. The bottom 20 would have about a 30% hit rate.

10% applies to everything (maybe not gift cards?) but discounts don’t stack. In other words the discount isn’t 15% (using Redcard and employee discount), it’s 10% off the total and then 5% off the updated total.
