I bet if we picked a random prospect, and started a thread pumping up his stuff and saying how it's a steal to get his stuff, there would be a price surge in that prospect even though it was unwarranted.



I regret not getting a Bat Down in the fall, but ended up adding a Mahomes PSA 10 instead as well as further increasing my player PC so it was okay.

This message board absolutely sways the hobby. Ive witnessed it on several occasions just in the last few years
There are about 10x as many lurkers as actual posters who watch and listen and act/react to the convos and threads around here.

I think the last few PSA 10's sold in that range so probably too high for a BGS gem.

When PSA 10's were selling for $2800-3k, then 1600-2k would be right.

edit, i missed the raw one that did 1150 and min gem 1500...so yeah I guess 1600-2k is right. PSA 10 prob 2500-3k again

Found a single pack of 2018 Topps Update pack while doing some evening grocery shopping earlier today. Was going to sell it on eBay but decided to open it. What do I have to loose on a clearance pack that cost me a few dollars. Pulled two Acunas out of the pack. A debut and this GOLD parallel. I still can't believe it!!

Hidden top right corner, the one that always catches the ding. Nonetheless, absolutely awesome amazing pull off one pack! I am an embarrassing amount of fat packs ripped without finding one of those.

Nice pick up! I’m surprised a couple of the auctions for blacks have ended in the $40-$50 range. Thats too cheap. The supply on these will dry up by all-star break and I think prices will be closer to $125. Same thing happened last yr.

Thanks. This is actually the first Acuna Black I have from any set thus far. Paid $50 for mine but like you said get it now while you can. Really like the photo.
