For the price, this is probably my favorite Ohtani RC Auto. I have an affinity for paper, and the throwback designs are some of my most desired RC autos. Can't go wrong with '83 Topps, it's a top 10 Iconic flagship design in my book. Certainly the best of the '80s. Gwynn, Boggs, Sandberg AND Strawberry RCs? Sign me up!

Yeah, the glorified stats aren't there but getting on twice as the leadoff hitter is all the dodgers need with the rest of the lineup.

I definitely wish this series was more exciting from the Judge vs Ohtani angle, but barring a total collapse it will be nice to have that WS ring on the resume.

Really excited about the prospect of Sho getting a ring after all he put up with in Anaheim for 6 years. If it happens in his first year in LA that's just amazing. He'll have many more opportunities to make his mark on the postseason.

I have a question about 2018 Bowman Chrome auto ohtani.
What is the price gap ( if any )between his batting image VS pitching image ?
Is batting preferred compared to pitching image?
Assuming they are of the same grade .. say PSA 10

yep, that is usually how it works. Baseball reference will show 2024 MVP and World Series Champ. Those are what is going to be on his placard for HOF.

Yep, this 100%. "Ohtani wins WS in his first ever trip to the postseason" will be the narrative people remember this season (along with being the first player to ever achieve 50/50....oh, and toss another MVP trophy in there too). No one will remember he went 1-11 or whatever in the World Series.

They WILL remember Judge's no-show though, since his team (will have) lost.
