I think I won't respond to you anymore. When you resort to name calling and insults, it doesn't say a lot of good about you.

Awful swing on 3-1.

Coghlan doesn't swing at that 3-1 if ump's strike zone doesn't suck.

It has nothing to do with that.. If you are a fan you believe they can win and root for them until they lose. If you aren't you are negative and whine and focus on the past just to accept the loss that may or may not ever come. You aren't by definition a "fan". Root for them and be optimistic and positive until the end. Quit with your childish cry baby attitude.

Be an actual FAN for the team you supposedly root for..

You are 23 freaking years old. You haven't been through a 'lifetime' of anything yet. Every Cubs fan over the age of 40 wants to punch you in the eyeball.

Can you really not see the difference between being critical of the team and being more dramatic and whiny than a 15 year old girl?

Well this series isn't over. Does it look good so far? Hell no. No reason to forfeit all hope though.

It's tough. That's all. I have been with this team through and through. The good and the bad. I've watched them when they were in first place. I've watched them when they were in last. I'm not watching now because it's too depressing.

I hope you apply that to the other half dozen people in here.

Horrible swing (and post season) by Montero but that's far enough off the plate that it would have been called strike 3 had he no swung anyway.

Oh I'll be watching Games 3 and 4, but if it gets ugly, that's my cue.

One thing to remember is that the colder it gets the more pitching and D are at an advantage

He said "all series" not all season as u quoted him as saying. FYI just bc I hate all the biased/ignorant Cubs posts u put out there. The only reason I'd like to see the mets win is so all the obnoxious Cubs fans will go into hibernation until next season.

Good thing you're not a Royals fan, you would've wallowed in despair during game 4 when they were down late in the game and facing elimination...

Except I am critical of this team, too. Don't judge me by my age. Consider the fact that I go to Wrigley every year, or that I watched this team during its not so good years. Consider that I watched them even when others didn't.

I hope in spring training they let Schwarber get to know the staff and make Montero the platoon guy.

If a baseball game is that depressing to you then you have other issues you need to face in life.. I don't lose hope in the team I am a fan of just because they are behind. And nor should you. You can be critical and whine maybe once in a rare while post but every post?! Come on dude. It's pathetic and you know that. You don't need the attention that bad to feel better about yourself do you?!

Root for your team until the game is over. If they lose then they lose. So be it. It's a 7 game series for a reason. I don't give a #@#@#@#@ if they lose 3 and then win 4. I won't give up hope until they lose. And if you are a "fan" as you claim then grow up and be one!

Montero you would think is the definite pick between Ross but at this rate neither have proved anything. Nothing defensively or offensively. I don't expect a ton out of Montero but I would like to see him not strike out 75% of the time and never get on base. And Schwarber just needs to work on defense behind the plate.
