Hey, Cubs pitchers, how about not needing to give up runs in the first and settle down? Why not just come out dealing?

It's a nice consolation prize, but Cub fans want the big one.

I spent more than an hour at the gym this afternoon.

I'm not ready to turn my attention to the Bulls/Bears/Blackhawks, though I saw that loss today.

I do like other sports. There's just something about baseball and its magic I can't live without.

Because they ain't that good and we're used to Grienke and Kershaw (the best pitchers in the game)

Hawks are proven to be clutch and have had their moments of erasing a 1-0/2-0 deficit. Too bad the Hawks are only my second love.

I think the Cubs fans also need to remember how cold it really is right now. That cold weather doesn't favor big bats. It definitely is a much bigger help to pitching. The next week looks to be back to much warmer temps and returning home. I think they will be fine and make this a good series.

It's what I said last night. I wouldn't panic too much if they lost Game 1. Now Game 2 is here and we all know how long the Winter is.

You mean like how the Mets have hit three homers this series and the Cubs only one? If Citi Field is friendly to pitchers, the Cubbie arms aren't getting the memo.
