Fanatics show at FedEx Field?

I saw that this is happening over the weekend. Anyone ever been to one of these before. If so, are there a lot of card dealers? Probably won't get anything signed, so the only reason I'd be going is for the cards.

The Fanatics show in Chicago has 100's of tables. Not sure about that one though.

I usually go to the Fanatics in Chicago. During the summer time there arent a lot of dealers, but there is still a decent amount. It usually gets packed during the fall and winter when they also have the show. You should go, you will really enjoy yourself. A ton of vintage and baragin boxes. Might be a lot of sellers because the show will be held in a stadium or might not be a lot simply because the state of Maryland isn't as crazy about sports compared to Chicago. Hoped this helped. Oh and like a ton of other card shows, the cost to get stuff signed isn't worth the price.

Stopped by today after work, so a quick review:

A poorly advertised show. There were maybe 30 dealers, and a lot of them brought plenty of stuff (the gentleman from chantilly with the crazy $1 boxes was there. One of my favorite dealers). But the dealers as a whole were pretty disappointed with the turnout. My understanding is that the Redskins approached the promoter about the show, and said they'd advertise, but as we saw, almost no advertising was done.

I did pretty well at the show. If you like digging through boxes, definitely worth a stop. There was some higher end stuff as well. Parking and admission is free, and the concession stand was open.

Sounds as bad as the MAB show they tried 3 years ago in Richmond. I'm not sure why dealers won't show up for these shows in this area.

Even though I have frequented Fanatics for 10 years, I've become increasingly disgusted with their lineups and high prices. Other companies are much more accommodating.

I plan to go in November. I'm not sure I'll get anyone, except I'll be getting someone for a friend, who is a huge Packer fan.

I thought of Dick Allen, but his signed stuff is cheaper online.

My buddy did the show and said it was 100% the biggest waste of time and worst show that he has ever seen......
