The cup damaged cards

HI everyone

I am having some trouble with upperdeck and i was wondering what people thought. I opened a pack of the cup this year and every card in the pack was destroyed on the top right corner. had some nice card like a Stanley cup signature Mark Messier and it was completely ruined.

Well i wrote upperdeck and i sent photos of the cards and here are is their reply "Thank you for sending in the scans of the cards. We can not replace the cards due to scarcity however we will send you some complementary product to assist. Your case number is ###; you can expect to receive this within the next couple of weeks. If you have any further questions please feel free to reply to this email; I hope you have a great day!"

Now i want to know has any one else had this problem before and what did upper deck due? Now me i want another pack of the cup, what else can they send me to make up for this? Anyone that can help me out please tell me how?

yes several times, they took care of me well. Dont feel to bas i had a Whole pack of the cup All tore up, i mean Hand Colilated serisouly???? the lower right hand corner on every card was bent up...send it in, get your moneys worth out of them robbers.

hey man thanks for posting. I had this problem once before but no where as bad as the cup. I bought last years exquisite and one of the cards had a crease in it. And it was just the common card so i wasn't to worried about it but this is not good for upper deck a company that is on the verge of collapsing. I hope they do what is right and fix the problem or upper deck could be a thing of the past.

Sorry for the long delay but upper deck finally fixed the problem.

First i called upper deck and sent photos of the damaged cards. Than i waited about 2 months and for all six messed up cards UD sent me a marty turco cup foundation quad patch. Yeah i know 6 cards all messed up and one POS card back. Well i then called UD and raised hell. As i see it i am a very loyal customers and love UD. If they didn't fix it i was going to stop card collecting for ever.

So raised hell and sent the cards out to UD at my expense. Then in about a week they sent me out the same turco card. and

Dryson Bowman limited logo 26/50 4 color patch 5 color break

dany heatley 163/249base card

Marian Gaborik cup foundation 24/25
AND

I know the cards arnt the greatest but upper deck replaced the cards that were busted with basically the same cards

Considering what you had to go thru and the amount of time you actually waited to get this resolved, I think you did very well. Congrats!

I feel your pain...UpperDeck usually take their sweet time...you just have to call/email and they end up making up for it. It's a process.

I just busted a box of the cup and got Duchene/O'Reilly dual patch auto /35 from the cup with a bent corner... I love this card but wtf?
I am wondering is it worth it.......

How bad is it, I couldn't really make out on Youtube...See, I don't get it...don't they check out the cards before they insert into pack/box/tin...It's criminal.

The dual patch auto near the end start at 8:24 top right.
Idk like I said when you shell out 80$ a box I can see it happen but hand packed and 400$ a box???

I never got it upperdeck makes the best looking cards year in and year out. Then its like well since we make the best cards who cares if they get the crap beat out of them.

I also am missing a hit on 1 of my tins. I bought 3 tins and no extras in there so idk.
I thought hand packed meant something.. Oh wait ahhahah!

PS I just got the full box in (thanks Chris) but a decent amount of them are damaged. Looks like ill go ahead and bend over for UD as well!
