Them find one for way cheaper and grade it.

What might happen, is I decline this offer. Then, and this has happened more than a couple times, later on I'll find in my ebay items you didn't win folder this card and it will have sold for less than my offer.

I don't negotiate as a seller or as a buyer. I have no problem keeping the cards I have or missing out on the ones I don't. I have prices in mind that I want to pay or sell if someone won't budge I just move on. I don't understand the people that keep pushing and it just annoys me so I just ignore them or block them.

Trying to guess who it was. It obviously wasn't those two.

If the card is so ridiculously priced then you should have no issue posting the card since obviously no one else is going to buy it. It would probably help with people's opinion on the matter, especially if he said it routinely sells for $220-$280. Either way though at the end of the day its their card and they can ask whatever they wish for it.

Not Jeter. I already have a nice Jeter auto though. If anyone has a nice Cal Ripken Jr. 2000 SPx Signature certified autograph for sale that is from the same set as this Jeter I'd be interested. This thread is not about Cal Ripken Jr. either though.

I don't know if it's ridiculously priced. Maybe it's priced just right, that's what I'm trying to ascertain.

you came here looking for people opinions then chastise them for not agreeing with you.

The seller of this card is a friend of mine. He said he will never sell his George Brett to the OP now after starting this thread.

I only see two $300 BIN (OBO) 9/10s with an 8.5 centering out on eBay...a bowman chrome Jose Abreu rookie auto, and a Wil Myers finest jersey auto /50. If it's the Abreu, then you could probably buy an ungraded one off of someone on these boards for <$250.

I don't know much about that Wil Myers, but I do have an interesting story about a Wil Myers card. I hit a 2013 Sterling Mike Trout auto /50 redemption a couple of years ago fairly quickly after that product was released. When I first tried to redeem it, the redemptions had yet to be loaded into their online redemption system.

I checked back a couple of times over the next week or two, and finally one Sunday, they were loaded up and ready to go. I entered my code, hit submit, and then saw a message that said something along the lines of "congratulations, your Wil Myers superfractor has been redeemed".

I spent the next 30 seconds of my life sitting there with a surprised, dumbfounded look on my face. To add some additional perspective to the situation, at that time, I had never hit a superfractor before.

After the shock wore off, I sat there thinking about how awful it would be to hit a superfractor redemption and be told that it had already been redeemed. I quickly decided that I would call Topps first thing on Monday morning to make sure this redemption wasn't processed and sent my way.

Needless to say, the cuatomer service rep I spoke with was caught off guard when I told him what happened. I believe I even took some front/back photos of my redemption card and sent them to him as proof. He quickly escalated the situation, and it didn't take long for the redemption site to stop accepting redemptions for that product (and I believe a couple of others even maybe) while they figured out what happened with their redemption list generation data process.

Ok, I've rambled on too long already, so I'll wrap this up. In the end, they figured everything out, and I received my Mike Trout auto (which is a beauty by the way). Then, about a week later...karma struck, and I hit my only superfractor in a break. It was the Carlos Correa/George Springer dual auto from the same '13 Sterling set, and it's now my favorite card. It's funny how things work out sometimes.

What about the Matt Harvey 2010 BC Prospects Auto. 9/10 with 8.5 centering.

It sure fits the description. Sold today with a BIN/BO of $299.99 (he accepted $249.99), purchased in June for about $150.

Is he a member here? How did he find out about this thread? What about this thread would make him say that? Why did YOU get involved with messing up a transaction. I didn't say who the seller was or even what the card was. I think you should be banned from blowout for getting involved where you weren't welcome if this is true.
