Just came home from the game. Holy crap. What a night. Most electric I've ever heard the park. Even those people that are on their phones the whole game were on their feet cheering. Now let' s take our mojo to the next series!!!

I had no clue. Ive gotten away from collecting so less and less reason to show up on blowout to begin with. Wouldve been fun to participate in this thread but quite honestly with metsplaya ranting and raving all day long, I saw no point.

My apologies about the no no.
I did blame it on my not having pulled out the all star game mets gnome and posting his pic here. So gnome is still undefeated. In fact I pulled him out of the box after the second inning last night and thought about hopping on here to post his pic. Minutes later we had five runs

Any ways, its great to see the fans behind the Mets again.
By the looks of things on the tele, except maybe for some Matt Harvey starts a couple years ago, it appears to be the most energy citifield has ever seen.

Now if I could only trade my 2006 WS tickets for 2015 WS tickets....
Can throw in a large pile of Ike Davis 1/1 to sweeten the deal !!!
Any takers ? no ?

Hope all of you are well

LETS GO METS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and yes I am still looking for the 4 red refractors in my sig GRRRR

Against Right handed pitching only, Granderson (.378) and Murphy's (.452) OPS against lefthanders is AWFUL. You have Murphy at 3rd I presume, Flores at short, and Johnson at second? I really wouldn't want Flores at short under any circumstances. Even against righties he would have to play third IMO, until Wright gets back. He is not a full time player until Murphy is gone and/ or Wright is gone.

Mayberry (.628 against lefties, almost double Grandy) needs to platoon with Granderson. Flores (.911) needs to play second against Lefties, and Tejada play Short. Uribe (.963) should start against Lefties. Johnson should be our first choice off the bench and spot start. Our Left Handed starter lineup should look like this:

1. Flores
2. Uribe
3. Cespedes
4. Duda
5. D'Arnaud
6. Mayberry Jr.
7. Conforto
8. Tejada
9. Pitcher

Marlins putting out the oddest line-up I've ever seen.

Remember when people (mostly on the radio, love those guys) complained we didn't do the Syndergaard-Desmond move? Love them.

Anyway, let's sweep the Marlins.

Or Syndy for Tulo.

So happy Sandy did his job and didn't give into outside pressure

Wonder what the Nationals pitchers that pitched thought of this.

Seriously? Nats lead by % points, At the end of the year it will even up 162-162 IF there is a tie no one would be % points ahead they will be even and fight a tie breaker. How did "baseball fans" not get the point I was making?

Its not that we didn't get your point, its that your point is pointless. If a team wins over 50% of their games then they are "supposed" to win both of those games, therefore they SHOULD end up being ahead of the Mets still which is why they are still in first place.

You are making an assumption that they both go .500 or have the same W/L throughout the year which is a flawed assumption therefore your point is invalid.

Please move on.

FWIW - Still waiting for data to show citi field as a hitters park.
