Default Card shops in Detroit Metro area

Having a hard time finding good card shops near the detroit metro area. I know of sportscard central in west Bloomfield but that's it. Any Help?

I don't know of any card shops anywhere that are sports related. I've seen Pokémon and comics shop. Don't think they had sports cards in there cause they didn't advertise it.

Slim pickings.

Sporscardcentral is really it. And they don't get new product in like they used to on release day often anymore.... Not sure what's been going on there.

Grand Slam in Sterling Heights is the best on that side of town. I wouldn't say they do a ton of singles, but they typically get all the new brands boxes/packs. Good owner, very friendly and helpful.

Gibraltar also does card shows once a month. A pretty good select of stuff there. One in Mt Clemens, and one in Taylor. Not sure if the taylor one is still in business.

There's a relatively new one in Downtown Rochester. On Main Street. Ton of wax.

Sportcard Central doesn't get wax like they used to. They wait for price drops before they order. Grand Slam in Sterling Heights is pretty good.

Please don't tell this guy about any shops... cause 1, he can use this thing called "google," and I honestly think its better off if Denzel isn't at the Hobby shops. I mean it would be too crazy, and we wouldn't be able to get our Hobby boxes ever.... I can't wait to run in to this guy at the shops, I just printed his picture off the other thread off, and I've been eating a lot, I MEAN A LOT of PROTEIN BARS so I should be good if things turn into HAND 2 HAND COMBAT!!!!

Didn't you say your wife picked out the thick packs for you. So did she randomly grab the thick packs or search for then? No need to lie. It's Panini's fault for not putting blanks in packs.

Bingo! Ron at Grand Slam is a great guy. Mt. Clemens Gibraltar is also a solid choice (Taylor is out of business. If you decide to go that route, go to the very back and see a guy named Robert. He always has the best prices in there and if you find anything cheaper he will definitely match it if not beat it.

Yea when I collected in the late 90s. And early 2000s Gibraltar was my spot. Me and my dad actually had to 8 foot tables set up their usually a few times a year at taylor. Back then was the fun times in the hobby.
