Never mind. It seems I got Probstein and PWCC mixed up. I still wouldn't count out carolinablue shilling it.

LOL that one guy has 99% bid activity with the seller. I think it's a bit shilled.

This thread was emailed to us so we were able to take a look. We have looked into this auction, as well the another item which has bidder activity from several of the same bidders. Other item is the: 1998 SPx Finite Spectrum Vince Carter ROOKIE RC /25 #215 BGS 8.5 NM-MT+ (PWCC)

These two items are very similar so it makes sense that that the bidding would be done by the same bidders. We can't see any obvious signs of this abuse as of yet, but we ask that this board continue to help us monitor the bidding.

The reference to the 99% bid activity is very misleading because that bidder ID has only placed a very few number of bids and they are only on these two items, so it doesn't seem strange since these are two very similar, very rare items being sold by us.

Please email us again should anything new surface but at this point we don't have anything clear that warrants us taking corrective action.

HOW ABOUT YOU TAKE A LOOK INTO ALL YOUR AUCTIONS BEFORE YOURE EMAILED.

Novel idea uhh?

If you want to be recognized as a legitimate business and not the "fraud protector" you seem to be then I suggest you significantly alter your business model, which must currently include "protect the seller at all cost" language right now.

Have you seen how many auctions they run? It would be impossible to monitor every single one. IMPOSSIBLE. Put down the Haterade and start your own business where you can guarantee none of your auctions will ever be messed with then come back and here and start talking junk.

Have you seen how many auctions they list that are highly suspected of shilling. I would bet you ANY number you would like that a more significant number of their auctions have fraudulent bids than do other typical auctions. I certainly don't "hate" on them but its highly suspect when a card that sells for $150 regularly now sell for $550 in their auction. This is just one example.

So don't cosign on people you dont know.

As much as I don't like the guy personally, he had one of the best Carter collections out there. However, for years, he would list them all on eBay at completely ridiculous buy it nows and refuse to work with anyone. He'd get insulted by MORE than fair offers and go off on angry tirades about how he's better than everyone else because he owned some nice cards. He was banned on here about a year ago if memory serves when he basically lost his mind.

The remaining cards in his collection are at the same stupid buy it nows on eBay, only he consigned them this time.
