Part of the reason you are getting killed is how he overpaid on everything, this guy paid $50,000 plus flight severely overpaying for a bryant superfractor which was at its peak time and was really worth around $30k...

I mean here's the simple math the guy who made this product, pays strong on stuff. He made a lot of bad deals considering when and what he paid for singles. And you know he bought 250 cases at pretty much direct cost not super cheap... So you know his values are skewed. All the raw stuff are off clearly didnt min grade as he graded everything. He wasn't the most adept buyer so I think honestly he isn't making the killing on this stuff you guys think he is.

Instead he is churning out a dumpy product and the breakers and the retail website are taking the profit and he's scrambling. Another guy reached out to me literally last Wednesday to get some singles sold overnight to him.. i did and then he told me why it was for prospect rush, I laughed. No surprise here...

Everyone can hate on Bowman or NT or the current products for being awful and having bad correlation and rape etc... but

here's the Difference none cost $8000 a case... and tons of cases out sell their actual value.. the only case in this which you could say you will definitely net a profit is the kris bryant scratcher - and then still a buyer will be tough to find at over liek $3 or $4k for a 20% chance at a card worth at most $25-30k atm.

the alex jackson superfractor he paid I believe $3800 or so that card has tanked (it is the second best card in checklist), you are looking at max $6k a case back. DO the math this is strictly for places liek blowout to sell and breakers to sell breaks.. FIrst pick will always hit liek a $400 card min where products rape can be $150 each so it seems ok for that meanwhile its $300 a slot so I'm still laughing...

Bowman much more product, etc but a $700 hobby case can yield a $10,000 card... or more likely a $800-1500 red auto etc.... i mean you are against the odds there... but you yield 10% of the investment...

Conclusion, don't open for personal. Don't be surprised you got raped. You got into cards he buys high at that he bought when 2014 Draft was out and the product has since tanked obviously like every year. And this should be illegal I will speak to some lawyer friends and that isn't a threat this has to end.
not gonna get involved in any of this just note your simple math is way off, the cases are $8k but there are only 100 of them. so at your numbers above (300 cases & 7K would be 2.1 million not 210k)

So much hate in this thread directed at the wrong person. ML didn't create this product......fellow BO members did. When ML posted the 250 Draft break, people were falling all over themselves at how awesome it was and how jealous they were that he was able to do something like that.

Then it quickly turned into request for another Prospect Rush product after seeing all of the hits that were being produced from his break. He had no choice but to give the people exactly what they were asking for and I don't blame him since he capitalized on the opportunity given.

As for the product itself, it's garbage, shocker. But so were the other Prospect Rush products of past years, so why complain now? Because the price is higher? In actuality, it's no different then charging $250/box for 1 slabbed card and a few other random hits.....which is exactly what the other releases were.

Just witnessed a 1 box break that might not bring back $1000. It was absolutely pathetic.

go look on the box breaks section. There is one box that a guy might not even get back $700. His "big hit" was a Aramis Garcia Orange Refractor auto /25 bgs 9.5, only a $50 card.

Okay, I stand corrected. Not the worst box then, but it was pretty bad. Blue Seager is a nice card for sure.

If Prospect Rush didn't try to lowball me on some of my items, I might have sold him this card. Imagine the ruckus it would have started?

Wow, that one card would've changed the entire product like you are suggesting.

He wouldn't have used it for the break because it's not draft.

Not a bdp card so it would not have been included.

Curious on the thread posters thoughts.........if you had the #1 pick in a single box break and say a $500 resale value card was hit (and all you would do is sell it) and an instant win scratch card (being unscratched) was also pulled, what would you choose?

Those cards should either be scratched prior to the draft or sent to the member unscratched. Its pretty much a lose lose if they scratch it for you.

I take back what I said earlier...

This stuff is pure junk. I shouldn't have expected anything less from a repack product. I don't think it's Will's fault that this turned out so bad, but this stuff is a huge waste of money at the current price point.

Opps........to clarify not the Bryant chase scratch offs but the other instant win cards where you can win PS4's, cases, slab lots, etc.

The $500 card unless about 70-80 were left unscratched and none had been known to be winners at that time.

Edit: I'd still go the $500 card but think about it. I think the best result is a 2014 Draft case? Blowout has those for $525 last I checked.

Thank you for the great laugh after a full day of driving the school bus.

Your first two paragraphs are classic. Prospect Rush deserves none of the blame on this product, YOU ALL DO! You held guns to his head and FORCED him to overpay for a Kris Bryant Superfractor and make this product!

Maybe it's just me but I think this product would be much better if instead of buying the Bryant for $50K he spread that 50K out on more $500-1000 cards... Granted the Bryant is pretty much a $50K marketing campaign as it's pushing the demand for the product but still... Overall I think it's a GREAT group break product, horrible for personal breakers.. Either way Will has done an excellent job of answering everything

I'm sitting at my shop explaining to one of my customers this EPIC blowout disaster .....

I get to the end of the story and explain about the kris Bryant super...

His only comment is what if this is a scam?

He says "Well he made a bunch of money for a inferior product....

I'm like ya probably

Then says well what if the winner of the Bryant super is a scam and it ends up back with him...

This is devil advocate stuff...

But I just thought it very interesting for someone who knows nothing about this to comment like that.... First words out of his mouth
