I thought that was a very boring episode but I'm happy to see a new character introduced at the end.

A boring episode of Walking Dead is still better than most shows.

According to the internet, if the source material is followed, the new character basically introduced the next big plot line.

This show is so tough to watch when there are episodes like this. I like the show but I can never put it up there with the elites because of how weak the slower episodes are. Just feels like they are going in circles....someone dies....new people appear. I know I knows thats what happens when the world explodes but I dont wanna watch it?

Thought about this, but then in that kind of world most days should be like this. I'm just glad we finally saw real, fitting weather. I don't think we've ever seen snow and this is only like the 2nd or 3rd time it's rained. Apparently they had a rain machine but it started raining as they were filming.

I dont even think of stuff like that, because if I did Id just get madder at shows and hate them more.

Right? Too many people bitch about this and other shows when they don't go the way they want. It's too slow. It's too fast. They forgot this. They changed that. It isn't like the comics. It's too much like the comics. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

I did too, it brought closure to the Atlanta part of the story and having Aaron pop in at the end clearly starts the next chapter.

The amount of people on the reddit subreddit and other forums that believe Maggie's dream was real is staggering.

Its amazing on that, but like I said earlier the things they did would have been a disaster for the group. No way would all of them have run to the door to hold it. And Daryl would have alerted the rest of the group.

I thought it was a good episode...there were some classic shots in there with the zombies trying to break the barn door...kind of a nod to the old school if you watch any old zombie flicks.

I still think people were spoiled by the writing on Breaking Bad and expect that to be the norm on shows like this now...which, to me BB was the high water mark.

I thought it got really slow last season at the prison...but i've been pretty pleased with it lately...I wish there weren't as many commercial breaks but i guess that's what pays the bills.

if you want a faster-paced show, see Z Nation. You'll come back to the Walking Dead in no-time.

This was a big moment in the comics, when rick dropped that line. I don't know that it carried the same weight the way they used it in the show.

Consistently horrible writing on this show.

While I'm seeing some that are saying that this was a dream sequence, they really didn't do a good job showing that. Add in all the corpses smashed by trees at the end, i'm with you. While it totally could have happened since Tornadoes skip and bounce, the chances of all those trees landing around the barn to smash the walkers and none hitting the barn is astronomical.

Yup. ANd i'll tell you, if that cut turns out to be what does in Abraham, I'm going to be salty.

I turned it on in the middle of an episode because I had never heard of it. Watched it for about 5 min then turned it. It was terrible over the top stuff.

I have seen and heard some comments from people that they don't like how this show is somewhat repetitive in terms of someone joins, someone dies, so on and so forth. I've always explained this show as this generation's Seinfeld. This show truly is about nothing. There is no overarching plot, there is no end point in sight, there really is no beginning since we start with the zombie apocalypse in full swing. I like watching to see where it is going to go next, not to find out some conclusion. I think the show is great when it diverges from the comics since I don't want it to be too predictable.

Does the show have fits of bad acting or episodes that are a bit lackluster, sure, what show doesn't? I think though when this show is on it's A game, it's must watch TV. I would say that more times than not, this show delivers and you watch it for those huge payoffs.

Sorry - as a non-reader of the comics I've been conditioned to assess everything on which the camera alights for >3 seconds as a fundamental harbinger or some storyline or other.

I took the frogs as Sasha seeing them and in her mindstate after losing Tyrese, she didn't care about anything and didn't want to inform the group of them because she was just done.

Could be that it was just showing how dry everything was to give a feel of how rough the group has it. Thus making the rain that much greater. But if that was the case, why not collect the frogs and eat them. No need to shovel dirt over one like you're trying to hide it. The group would have feasted on some frog legs

it's not bad by any means. the pace is quicker, but the quality is not as good because of it (and the wack SFX).

a few tiny ass frogs would not have fed one of them, let alone the whole group.
