So I'm assuming the promo packs ship with the boxes??

That's what I'm thinking, I was going to buy a box but decided against it all the products are too overpriced and I wasn't looking forward to getting an auto of a guy who contributed nothing to his team all year. I would rather keep the money and buy a couple of singles instead.

My guess is it will sell out, either from discounted prices or more product added. If not, I'd guess they'll be redemption replacements.

I don't understand why so many people are trying to, and think they can, make money on this?

Re-selling the boxes?! ... LOL geez, talk about squeezing the lemon dry!

Boxes that sell for $30-40 are selling for $100 with a promo pack. Promo pack cost is then $60-70.

Boring, bland set with a ton of scrubs, sticker autos, and not a "true" released set. Secondary market is always awful on these, even the 1/1 versions.

They did this with basketball and it was hot for a few days then flopped ... expect to see it even worse with FB.

I can understand breaking a few for fun ... but a money maker?! ... hmm...

Do your research next time Paul before you post.

Limited, Playbook and Crown Royale Hobby all sell in the $70-85 range.

So getting the bonus pack for $15-30 is a no brainer...

These packs sell alone for $60-80 first few days of release.

Anybody know when they start shipping the boxes and promo packs? I put my order in a couple days ago and nothing has been shipped

I looked at a past thread from a few years ago and promo packs were going for around $100 (one guy said he was getting $150). I think this time around $60-$80 sounds about right.

I think boxes are going to drop as ebay will become flooded.

When I did the Stanley Cup Promo a few years ago boxes dropped about $20 from previous sales. I think some sellers just wanted to recoup the box cost and keep the promo.

I looked back at my excel sheet and was getting $70 for Stanley Cup Promo packs. They were totally searchable so that hurt sales big time. I remember getting a lot of questions about it.

I would assume they are sealed this time around.

I've ended up on the plus side for the last Super Bowl promo and for the NBA Finals Promo. Just don't buy the crappier boxes.

I think last time I sold my promo pack for about $80 after fees, which allowed me to break a hobby box of Crown for $20 (in theory).

Not saying this will happen this time around but no matter what the numbers end up being buying these boxes with the promo packs is a much better value than just buying the boxes at eBay prices.

Limited is 87/box here on BO, so for 100 I get the box + promo pack, meaning the promo pack is about 13 in "cost"...... and I would buy them all day at that price.

Also my LCS gets rapped by his distributor hand over fist so I can probably get the full amount back on the boxes since shipping was free and they were tax free.... and with those "discounts" I would probably be under distributor pricing for him.

So with my order.... "in theory" my promo packs were free.... I only ordered 3 boxes though as that is all the risk I am willing to take that Panini doesn't #@#@#@#@ this up, bad.

I got the Absolute box for $150. BO has em for $132. I don't mind paying only $18 more to try for one of those 1/1's. It's a gamble but whatevs.

They only shipped one of my 2 orders as well. Maybe they are waiting to ship the second orders with the 1/1s
