Default Holy Cowboy Ninja Viking

A week ago the #1 issue of Cowboy Ninja Viking was selling for $2-6 BIN, now with the news Chris Pratt is the lead in an up coming movie these are now $50-100 depending on condition.

Search through your LCS cheap bins people!!!!

^^^ So true.

Crazy how much it jumped over night.
Pratt is a star though and people will see this just because he is in it.

its funny, its news like this and the huge spike in prices that allows me to go back to my wife and say, "See its worth having all these long boxes taking up space". LOLOLOLOL. It doesn't happen often so when it does I make sure to use it to my advantage!

I got lucky and found the first 3 issues for $9 total.
Curious how this will do

I think I may have a copy of this, will have to dig in the way back boxes as I know I bought 10 of them when it came out and "think" I saved 1 for myself.

Serious question: Was this a worthwhile storyline, or is this another B.P.R.D? (not to say you can't make money on them with the quick-flip, but I can't really find out anything about this story and the first Trade isn't available on Diamond)

Chris Pratt playing the lead role in the movie. An easy quick flip but could actually be worth a few down the road (when movie hits) since he is a decent star now / fan following.

As far as the comic itself goes, no idea I have never read it or (shame on me but at least I am honest) have never heard of it.

I read it, did not pick up the 2nd issue. Doesn't mean it's not good, but it didn't grab me.

I figured some of you might appreciate this story.

I've not been doing card stuff for a while now but saw the news on a film site the other night. I've had six copies of #1 sitting on my counter next to my tv since they arrived having ordered them after one of Indy's "heads up" posts.

I ordered them from Midtown and they didn't send them in bags and boarded as stated on its site. When I politely pointed that out to them in an email FYI "complaint" they were pretty much dicks about it. Anyways, so they've literally just been sitting there on flat otherwise unusable out of the way space. I'd check value once in a great while on Ebay so I'm glad I didn't just toss them somewhere else.

Would I have much luck just selling them as one lot? Or do people mostly just want single copies? I'm not knowledgable about grading/conditon or that and what is deemed acceptable as far as surface, edges, etc. Five of them seem pretty comparable but one is clearly the weakest.

I would sell individually IMHO. Be honest about the conditions in the listing and if you can get close up shots of the imperfections. Similar to what Indy does when he shows the before and after of his pressings.

Firing up the wayback machine, this one took 5 years, but I double checked and called it back in 2009, glad to see you held onto them!
