Are you adding new items daily? This helps keep all your listings higher in the best match search results.

You can also try adjusting prices slightly, sometimes this will help the search status. I say that because I did some slight price adjustments on items that have been sitting for a month or so and have sold several of them in the past 3 days.

Sunday was my busiest single day of the year nearly 1000.00.

Just bought a mannequin from storesupplywarehouse.com
Hopefully I can pick it up soon so I can get some pics done on it today.. luckily the warehouse is 10 minutes away because shipping would've been 20

I went once to a series of storage auctions a few years ago. At least my experience was that the stuff was too crappy and the bidding too high to make any money. I think shows like Storage Wars created too much competition at these auctions.

Sales have picked up for me a ton the past 7-10 days, I think it is just so random. I have been good at adding 2-4 items a day for the past week though, trying to keep moving in inventory slowly. The other day I sold 6 items in 24 hours.

Don't overlook clearance racks at places like Wal-Mart. Pick up 2 Warcraft mouse sets today on clearance at a local Wal-Mart for 10.00 each. They sell for 40 to 50 each.

Honestly I only wash the stuff that has stains in it. I have yet to have anything that has an overbearing smell to it, and have not had any complaints. As for the shirt, some of the Ralph Lauren's are just heavier than others, unless it says a different material on the shirt, most are 100% cotton.

I always iron out wrinkles too. a clean presentation is important to me. i see listings with wrinkles and it's a turnoff for me.

I have a general question though.

If you found a nice item, new with tags, but it smelled a lil funky, would you wash it? would that be misleading listing it as NWT after doing so?

I personally would not wash it. I assume if someone is purchasing clothing from eBay that they are washing it before they wear it anyway.

I would hope they are washing it. The health codes here require thrift stores to wash clothing before selling it unless it has tags on it. If you wash a NWT item it is really not new anymore.

Throw it in the dryer with some dryer sheets, that's what I do.

Some people are allergic to certain colognes, my wife is allergic to the colognes in some dryer sheets so you have to think about that.

Yep was just about to say this. I have a severe allergic reaction to these things. So while I would wash it you run the risk they touch it and have a problem before hand.

Febreeze the $hit out of it!!

UGH got another newbie trying to claim he did not get his itemwhen the tracking shows it was delivered yesterday. Has a claim opened so of course it counts as a defect at the moment.

Seems like this is becoming more and more common. I think scammers are learning Ebay will often refund themselves in these cases.

Not sure. Where are you seeing the value? I'm kind of new to this. I wouldn't think there is a big haul there but you never know. I actually picked up a 1998 Tennessee National Championshirt shirt too the other day. I would have liked to pay at the most $10-$12 for that lot to be more reassured
