The 2014-15 NBA regular season begins two weeks from today. The 2014-15 NBA collecting season begins tomorrow. That’s when Panini America releases the highly anticipated 2014-15 NBA Hoops Basketball, a product brimming with tons of inserts and parallels, captivating photography, the season’s first Rookie Cards and rookie autographs — and absolutely zero redemptions.
We brought you the Quality Control Gallery for 2014-15 NBA Hoops Basketball last week. Today, we’re bringing you the pack-by-pack details of one 24-pack hobby box. Each hobby box will deliver two autographs, one memorabilia card and — as you’ll see — a chase-worthy selection of inserts, parallels and variations. A lot of parallels. I didn't know the golds would be 10 per box and the xfactor type ones about the same. I guess it's good since its a big base set so its still not gonna be easy getting the top players.

And I guess we have the clear front runner for worst rc auto of 14-15 with James Young, "Y13"? What a disgrace!! Is he gonna reduce it to half a Y by the end of the season??

I like the look of the product for this year. However, there is way too much to collect. As a Hoops Panini collector, I was exhausted by last years product. Go back to the 2012-13 Hoops Panini format or something similar.

i think if they were gonna have so many parallels they coulda either cut out most of the inserts, or just put them as retail only. it doesnt really matter i guess, but i will say that it will probably be the ugliest box cover of the year.
