At least they scored more than 1 run in their last 3 games at home.

And didn't get no-hit from the last place Phillies.

It's our future. Ignore it now but next year it will be there as well.

How much of that has to do with defense? I think we all know it is the offense that is the issue.

Lol you hate homers and you hate realists. Thankyou for your usual "add nothing to the thread" comment. You can go back to spending half your day looking for trolling gifs now.

Do I like seeing the Mets have ten errors in three games? No. But these games are meaningless and the errors are easily correctable. No reason to panic. The focus should be on improving their offense.

Yeah, Terry Collins is the reason the Mets are going miss the playoffs. TC gets more out of less than any manager in the league and deserves the chance to manage "Generation K, Part Deux"

Lol that's a joke. He gets nothing out of this team. Stats show that this team should be better. Girardi works with Yankees and they are much Better than us. He makes horrible in game decisions, never speaks up or holds players accountable, and his team quit on him weeks ago. Also has never sniffed the playoffs in his whole career

Yea, he sure is great. Do you even watch the games?

I watch every game and I like Collins. He has never sniffed the playoffs but which one of those teams were predicted to be a playoff team and underachieved?

In his time in NY, Terry hasn't had the players to have a competitive team.

Well I respectfully agree to disagree. I don't think he's the man for the job. I want wally!

I like Wally too and I'm not a huge Terry guy, but I just think on the list of the Mets' problems, manager is pretty far down.

2015 will come with higher expectations. If Terry can't manage that team to be competitive, get him out.

Like any manager he's made bad decisions.
When most of the team is batting 220 its kinda hard to predict
whose going to do well TODAY or who to pinch hit when.

As far as reliever decisions, Ive seen plenty of times where people on this board were pissed about him putting so and so in. A good chunk of those appeared to be the correct baseball decision, but generated the wrong result.

just as an example
When you put in a decent lefty specialist to get out 3 lefty batters,
its not the managers fault the guy gave up 2 bloops and a blast on 3 pitches.

You say offense, another Mets fan says the manager too but none of you guys mention the pitching as well? This is going to be a long road to recovery.

Unless you are talking about the bullpen, how is pitching a big problem? They have deGrom and Wheeler who are obviously young, but have looked very good this season, Harvey is coming back, Colon has a bad outing every now and then but is usually dependable, and then they have Gee/Niese/Syndergaard.

Best rotation in the bigs? No, but it certainly does not need as much improvement as the offense does.
