The bolded I think gives you your best shot. Bucs had no problem making Glennon a backup, didn't even give him a chance at the starting job. Give the Bucs a second rounder, and start building around him, I think it's a shame he's not starting right now.

And so ends the Bradford era in STL. Poor kid just couldn't stay healthy.

Stl has plenty of options via trade....
Butt Fumble has looked good for the Eagles.
Mallet has raised his play since Garopalo came around.
Cousins has outplayed RG3 in Washington
The next few days I would bet they trade for one of those 3.

I doubt Cousins gets traded, especially with RGIII being an injury risk.

Mallett is possible, but Sanchez isn't a starter I don't think. Stopgap? Maybe, but I think his role is a backup/spot starter, not a 16 game starter.

That is really too bad. You never want to see a guy with the kind of talent that Bradford has just losing it all by freak injuries.

The crazy thing is, he had a brace on the knee too. Just too bad.

Feel bad for Sam; he's a totally classy kid that deserves better than what he has had happen the last 2 years. However, what really makes me sad is some of the so called Oklahoma fans raggin on him on a board that I post on; freaking idiots

wow wtf... I was actually hoping he could have a great comeback year. and now injured again in a damn preseason game -_-

I really don't see how some people are giving him hell and making fun of him for a serious injury... very classless.

Hate to see it happen to him..

So why not Tebow?

St. Louis Rams have interest in Eagles' Mark Sanchez

Tough luck for the kid. I can see the Rams tanking the year to get a Qb in the upcoming draft.

Typical media reaction to everything.

Schefter based his report on information after he was evaluated initially. Quick said after the game that Bradford was OK. Seems like the initial test was negative, not so much the actual MRI.

Jeff Fischer said he was "very optimistic for a quick return from Sam Bradford "

Quick said, "I was a little nervous about it, but everything is all right," Quick assured. "Sam told me that he is ok."

Hardly the media screwing up. Schefter reported what was coming out of the locker room, which is his job.

You are correct. Doesn't look like that QB class has much upside at this point.

If only Vince Young didn't burn that bridge with Coach Jeff Fisher... it all comes full circle

Be ready to give up more than a second rounder for someone like that (or Cousins)... GMs all over the league can smell the desperation coming out of STL. Season hasn't started yet so getting a QB now will come at a premium.

Shaun Hill isn't a bad guy to roll with. He won't win you a Super Bowl, but the guy was pretty solid in Detroit when Stafford went down.

- Shaun Hill hasn't done much of anything in 3 years

- He didn't get younger

- He had Megatron in 2010 to help him. St Louis has _____ .....

Time to panic

To all the "dang 2010 looks bad people"...Clausen is now the Bears backup QB. Crazy right? If Cutler goes down, Chicago's playoff hopes lie in Jimmy Clausen.
