I have no issue with number 4 and many buyers of low end items feel the same way.

There is a very long thread in the baseball section on this subject.

Default Shipping.

Some people charge more for shipping because they don't ship in volume.

For a single card In a bubble mailer anything between 2-5.00 is acceptable.

Remember people have to take into account going to the post office, price of bubble mailer, ebay fees on shipping etc.

If someone is charging more than you want to pay for shipping don't buy from them..

I would say my pet peeve is someone responding to a question in an unprofessional manner. Take the time to type out an appropriate response if someone is asking you a legitimate question.

My biggest pet peeve about ebay is selling a card on here people expect you to go not only cheaper than eBay but also deliver it as if they think shipping is free so I guess the big complaint is that eBay has kind of ruins the market and has a specially destroyed book value of a card and receiving a card that you paid 3 or so dollars for shipping on and getting it in a PWE

When a seller puts 1/1 in title, but it's not! In the description it'll say eBay 1/1 or jersey number so it's 1/1.

Exactly this,I collect and this is a hobby,I did the power seller stuff a few years back but now it's all for me so I don't ship a bunch of stuff everyday. It cost roughly $3.50 with delivery confirmation for me to send one bubble mailer. What I do if I am sending a few is a discount shipping to $0.25 per card until it hit's $5.95 and then it's goes in a flat rate with free DC tracking.

I agree $2-$5 is not overpriced. When sellers have $8-$10 shipping I would definitely consider that overpriced.

Pet Peeve of mine other cards being sold for 50% or more then some people list it as BIN only. Ex: cards selling for $20-30 in auction. People list same card BIN only listing for $60 or more. Really you think people are going to BIN for that price? If you want to auction price and BIN for more thats fine. But don't BIN only with a insane price no one will pay.

Anything over $3 shipping for a single card is over priced. Shipping with tracking is $1.93 through ebay/paypal

I can handle all the trash spammy titles...Just

#1) As a seller, leave me positive feedback if I satisfied the item/shipping requirements.

#2) I hate Non-payers, wastes my time and more importantly holds up my money.

What about the cost of paper, ink, tape, toploaders, bubbler mail, and gas if applicable?

I can see $4-5 being fine. If your like me and would sell something and go to post office that's what it is going to cost to mail out. Not everyone uses ebay or paypal to ship if your a person selling things rarely.

Foreign Buyers that can't speak proper English
People that barely even understand what they are buying
Ebay sellers that don't respond to your questions
People that don't leave any feedback

Not everyone ships through ebay or paypal. It costs me roughly 3.50 on average to ship a single card well protected in a bubble mailer.

Cost me usually around $3. On almost all my auctions I have free shipping. It attracts more buyers.

If printing label gas shouldn't come into the equation. You can buy bubble mailers off ebay for $0.13-$0.25 a piece depending on who you buy from. Re use top loaders and team bags from your own purchases. As for paper/tape/ink I don't think it costs $0.70 for each sheet printed and each package taped.

Well if you have a printer and would like to save yourself time and money while also attracting more buyers because you'll be able to charge less for shipping then I would suggest starting to print them through ebay. It is very simple.

Sellers not being able to leave negative feedback, especially for non paying bidders.

It is not a business for me. I merely sell to get rid of unwanted cards, the way I ship costs more and that is what I charge. It is not "over priced" as buyers still purchase the cards. Over priced would imply that someone is no loner willing to pay that amount.

I don't lose any money on shipping. I merely charge what it costs me.

overuse of SP and SSP

tired of seeing xxxxxxxxxxx #/25 SP!!!

or

xxxxxxxxxxx #/25 SSP!!!

when EVERY card in that particular set is #/25. it cannot be a short print, if the WHOLE set is #/25. it would be a SP if most of the cards in the set were #/25, but this was was #/15.

I also only sell unwanted cards or extras and don't do it for a business.

I can tell you first hand that I will always buy from the person with lower shipping over the people charging more than $3. Only time I don't adhere to that rule is if the card is really rare but I will still factor in the shipping when considering how much I want to bid.
