Default need help!!!!!!!

So, I sold a gold gregory polanco gold chrome when he was on fire, sold for 675....

the card got delivered july 23rd, 9 days ago

the buyer JUST NOW is asking for a $175 partial refund because of a surface dimple or he is going to claim a case...

will paypal def side with him or can i make a case for buyers remorse since his prices have gone down?

btw, i have used up all the paypal pretty much so i don't want to refund him that much.

is this normal or buyers remorse?

heres the card,

I think you will lose a claim. Sounds like he is trying to recoup some of his payment. Pretty low but common on the bay.

I don't do partial refunds. Ask him to return it for a full refund to include shipping. May I ask who is the buyer? I know of a few high end buyers that have pulled the same thing. When confronted with the return, they sometimes opt to keep it. It sucks; but don't hate the player, hate the game. 0% chance PP will side with you.

You can explain until you're blue in the face. It's an inad case, the buyer will win 1000% of the time (unless they try to blackmail or extort you). It sucks man, a great reason to have funds to cover anything within 45 days. Nice little life lesson here.

If the buyer is on BO please give us the name so we can block as well.

This is why all high end should be graded and/or everything should be completely disclosed when you (anyone) sell something...Especially a high end raw card.

I won a case like yours on a Bryce Harper Auto awhile back I called paypal when the claim went in. same thing the guy was saying the card had a surface scratch but I did mention it in my listing so I won the claim. Not sure if you have anything in writing explaining it wasn't a perfect card. You might have a chance

I feel like I am watching the preview to an awesome movie... When is the show? Anyone want to count down? Or a boom gif when the buyer responds? Just so there is a nice reference point to where the good starts.

Oh I agree that people should not expect gem mint cards when they buy raw cards, way too many people do.

But I try to disclose a major flaw if there is one. On high end cards I will say where print lines are and if there are marks on the card...Typically all my high end stuff is graded anyway. Just like I told you the DJ Blue won't get a 10 auto when you asked earlier today.

Who is the user so we can block them....

Give us the NAME PLEASE!!! Pitchforks are ready and I am ready to block this dbag. Partial refunds should not be allowed...and I never give them. They either get the card or the full refund. In your case you no longer have all the cash so it puts you in a tough situation because paypal will almost always side with the buyer in these cases.

But we must know the name NOW

Bowman singles are such a problem anymore. Buyers expect 9.5 or 10s. They also want to prospect on your money for a month or so before filing claims.

What a mess.

It took him 9 days to notice a "Surface Dimple"

Classic buyer's remorse.
