Hello everyone,

I have asked Matt to change my pick from the autopick. I was en route to work when we were on pick 108 or 109 this morning. I did not get to work until 1:50 pm and the auto pick was made. He was not able to text me until 1:52 and he made the pick by then. I am not complaining and will keep the pick if everyone says I have to. I thought when I got to work I would make my pick or at least get a text from Matt. I would have taken a player chrome spot. I had 5 players left I wanted and they were all still available. I have told Matt who I wanted and also texted and called him. I am leaving it up to you guys to decide, but I would have chosen if I was contacted. It was just unfortunate timing and I guess my bad for not getting him a list, but we have been communicating every time it has been my pick so I was waiting. I do not have computer access that much and this is how I do all the picks in all the drafts, asking for a text or call. My first choice was BCP27 Raimel Tapia chrome. You guys decide if I get him or not. Thanks for listening and sorry for the hassle.

But there have been other picks and maybe they wanted what was autopicked. He had plenty of time to send in a list which was in the rules.

Paper parallels are coveted by people, see if someone will trade an upcoming pick for them.

No offense but you should not be able to change picks.

The same thing happened to me in daves recent break where I was on the road and didnt think the draft would get to me as quick as it did and I got autopicked.

I was told I could not change my pick and that I should have sent a list if I thought for any reason I wouldn't be able to draft, which I should have done.

Now on the other hand, in a Nordy break I was in a guy a few picks before me was autopicked then came in the thread and said he wanted to change his pick. Nordy allowed it and the guy he picked was the same guy I picked with my spot. So essentially I got screwed out of my spot because the guy who had already been autopicked got to go back after the pick and choose who he wanted.

So I would have to side more with the once your autopicked you just have to deal with your pick. You didn't send a list so you just have to take what you get.

I just wish breakers would make it one way or the other. Either you can or you can't change autopicks. It's frustrating that it changes from person to person.

If all the paper parallel spots are gone (are they?) this is probably a better route. Brad, the guy you want is still on the board, so just offer your paper parallel spot straight up to the first person who grabs him for you.

Very good points. The breaker host should stick to the rules and not change them for certain people. It makes life easier for everybody.

Not an issue. Worked out a trade with an upcoming pick who contacted me about swapping. No need to change my pick. Don't need to. But why no auto pick now after over an hour/s and my was done in 38-45 minutes. AGAIN NOT COMPLAINING, BUT I WAS READY TO MAKE MY PICK AND IT HAPPENED TO COME UP WHILE I WAS DRIVING TO WORK. A LIST WAS NOT NEEDED BECAUSE ALL MY PICKS WERE AVAILABLE. I was not given the opportunity to make my pick because I was PM'd while driving and autopicked while still driving and our awesome host was around. Now he said he will be gone and this person has had I think over 2 hours and not been autopicked. This is nobody's fault, but my own for not sending in the 5 names of the players that I wanted, but they would have all had to been picked and I would have still received one of them because 109 or 110 was up when I left.

Sorry again for hassle. It will work out fine because a couple of members wanted my slot and will pick my player and trade it to me for my autopick.

Yes I wanted that second spot and was hoping to get it but it was auto picked.

I just think its more f'd that you got autopicked and then others get way more than 30 min. What time was the last pick made? All im saying is be consistant.

This situation will clear itself up. I've always been consistent in my breaks with not allowing a change after an autopick. You can ask several people in past breaks.

As for the delay in updates, I posted earlier that I would be out for a while. I've been really busy at work and did not have the time to keep this moving. All is well now, so let's keep the draft going!!
