Topps Redemption is here, major FAIL! What do I do now?

I redeemed a 2013 Topps Tier One Rookie Reprint Auto of Nomar Garciaparra. I just received the card but it is not a "rookie" reprint auto. It is a reprint auto but not "rookie" as stated on the redemption card. It a reprint of a card from 2005 from when he was with the Cubs, almost 10 years as he debuted in 1996. Major fail by Topps! What do I do now? The card is clearly not a rookie reprint, its just a reprint of some random base card from 2005. All help is appreciated. Thank you.

Call Topps tell them they sent you a Tier One Auto reprint from 2005 and ask were is the USA team RC Auto.

Sell it. Unfortunately, it's not the 1st one I've seen. If you don't like it, I would guess you could still get some good money for it from Nomar or Cubs collectors.

That's topps for you. They will probably quantify it by saying its his "rookie" card on the cubs. LOL

uh oh, I redeemed one of these as well.... Paid almost $100 for the redemption, that pisses me off!

Yepp, saw Brent (I think) had one like this. Not sure what Topps was thinking, but I think you're out of luck.

You are not alone...the same thing happened with the 2013 clear "rookie" reprints of...

Sandy Koufax
Johnny Bench
Mike Schmidt
Tom Seaver
Reggie Jackson
And Nolan Ryan.

I don't know how topps screwed this up but that nomar is actually kind of nice.

this reminds me of prom night.
the excitement was there, and by the end of the night I still had a good time, but the ending wasn't what I had hoped for.

seems to be the story of topps..
