Instead of commenting why don't you buy something.. the coin looks jewelry grade and that was the starting point.. This is why it is better to IM then the opinion circus can focus on other things

When you buy on ebay you are not paying the fees anyways, what does that have to do with anything?

Someone needs to stick to the baseball forums, and not the coin section, you are making yourself look like a fool.

If you can find these for $295, in this condition, i will take 10,000 of them.

Dude, this coin is not bullion, these types of coins carry a VERY high premium. If you are looking for cheap gold, pre 33 US coins are not the route to take.

I buy all the time...just check out my feedback. The coin does not look jewelry grade. Do you buy numismatic coins at all or just low ball what you "research" on ebay?

Also when you negotiate in the forum you are setting yourself up for ridicule. That is why they made private messaging. :special::special::special::special:

Never hear of APEX...if you mean APMEX then I'm glad you are comparing yourself to one of the biggest precious metal companies out there. Definite D-bad and now added my my ignore list.

Apmex buy price is for $10,000 or more(and they buy close to a million dollars a week from customers), if you are buying this much you may get some suckers to sell you some pre 33 for near spot as well. But if you are only buying 1 coin, be prepared to pay at least $50 over spot.

If you buy millions of dollars of coins each year, then yes, you were off by $15.

Coin looks XF/AU to me. Would need to see it in hand pictures arent the greatest. Seller price is $20.00 cheaper than what ampex is selling it for. Ampex gives volume discounts for buying and selling coins? I dont think they are paying more per coin if you sell them one or ten are they?
