Steelers - saw a video of the Steel Curtain back in 1993. Since that time I am a die hard Steelers fan.
Celtics - that's difficult. I am a fan of the soccer team Celtic Glasgow. So I choose the Celtics because they have the same nickname and the same team colors.
Werder Bremen ( German Bundesliga ) - when I was 6-8 years old ( back in the 1978-1980 my favorite soccer player Rudi Völler played for them. So I became the only Werder Bremen Fan in my school class. Everybody else cheered for Bayern Munich.
Penguins - because they play in the same city like the Steelers

Approximately 43 years ago and 20 plus different address ago too, I was 6 year old living in Bruce Wisconsin. My best fried was Jimmy Vierick. His brother was Bobby and me and Jimmy thought he was the #@#@#@#@. Bobby was a reds and cowboys fan. Hence I have been ever since---ill never change. Love the Badgers and certainly dont root against brewers or pack---but reds and cowboys will always be my team0----and yes I know i am ancient

Red Sox/Patriots/Celtics/Bruins - Born and raised in Massachusetts, so ever since I was old enough to really pay attention I loved my local teams. The Patriots-Packers Super Bowl was the first big game I really remember well.

Browns - Between the 2nd and 3rd Superbowl wins for the Pats, everyone started jumping on the Pats bandwagon and I HATED it. I like lovable losers and for a number of reasons the 00's Boston teams weren't really that, and while the Red Sox and Celtics already had big enough fan bases before the wins, the Pats really got out of control. I hated being a fan of a bandwagon team even though I liked them pre band wagon, so I looked for another team to casually follow. Just so happened I was in Northeast Ohio and the Browns were awful at the time outside of Josh Cribbs, and so things just kind of clicked. Now that the Pats have somewhat returned to Earth and a lot of people jumped off the bandwagon re: spygate, super bowl losses, etc., I like the Pats again, but the Brownies are kinda my 1B to the Pats 1A.

Cincinnati Reds - I'm still far and away a Red Sox fan first, but I live in Cincy now and wanted to follow a local team a little. The Bengals definitely have that Browns losing history but I couldn't really get into their team (everytime they face the Browns I'm staunchly pro Browns lol). So the Reds became my team away from team, mostly because it's fun to cheer against the Cardinals (jerks!) and Cubs (my buddies favorite team - he's from Chicago) and Pirates (boo Pittsburgh). Plus I love Bronson Arroyo from his Red Sox days and I've seen him pitch like 3 times since moving here.

Yankees. I was in kindergarten and just grew up watching them. Earliest players I remember seeing were Pat Kelly and mike Stanley. I was fortunate to grow up with the late 90s dynasty. Watched wade Boggs ride into the sunset in 96 on a horse. Saw Griffey sliding home to end the playoff dreams of 95 and the end of mattingly chance for a ring.

Born a Mass - hole, so I bleed green, drink dirty water, and suffered through all the crappy years of watching the Pats.
