This is all about the devaluation of the RB. Chud I guess thinks the drop off to Mcgahee is small enough where he preferred a 1st rounder next year than T Rich. Next years draft will be a good one so... maybe trade ammo to ensure they get Bridgewater or someone else? Still not a fan though.

This is a new era, and with guys like Demarco Murray and Doug Martin all getting drafted late and blossoming quickly into franchise rb's...Richardson is not exactly worth the moon and the stars. Let's face it, kid probably isn't going to be Adrian Peterson...and the browns clenched another first round pick. They've now got quite a few picks next year, and if you're building for the 'now' then I don't blame them on this move. They could easily end up getting another Doug Martin next year in the 3rd or the 5th.
Martin was first round, and Murray was in question if he could stay healthy, and thus far he hasn't been able too.

I dont think the Colts touch 3 in the AFC. You still have to play a touch of defense and they are still young. Great trade but better than the Pats, Bengals, even the team that just beat them at home.

Yep, sorry...got Alfred Morris and Doug Martin intermixed. Still, like the above poster mentioned, this is all about the devaluation of the RB. They just aren't what they used to be, and more and more teams are shifting towards split back workload carries. (Bradshaw will probably be seeing some decent touches even with T-rich in town, I wouldn't be surprised)

Wow. I must admit, when I saw the title of this thread, I figured it would be a 'no-name' Richardson player instead of Trent, as some members like to toy with us like that. But now that I see it's Trent...wow, just wow.

Are the Browns giving up on the season already AFTER JUST 2 GAMES??? Maybe they know something about T-Rich that they don't like. Perhaps something alarms them. I don't know.

But this is an NBA-type of trade for sure. As others have stated, you just don't see many trades like this in the NFL.

Que asujbl chiming in soon to defend this trade and say something to the effect of, "I never really liked T-Rich anyways. Great move by the Browns!" I'm kidding, asujbl (well, half-kidding, at least)...you know I love you.

Wow. Trent is worth a mid to late first rounder all day.

I am a diehard Pats fan and right now the team at best is #4. I got a feeling the Dolphins are going to come back down to earth quickly. Not sold on the Bengals yet. Mind you teams 2-6 I think right now you can argue about 6 or 7 teams perhaps.

guess i'm the only browns fan who liked this trade, i hated when they drafted him at 3 last year. The guy dances way too much and has an injury ridden past. I wish him the best but at this point i'll take this trade all day and the browns are now stocked with picks next year. People need to stop saying manziel will be the #1 pick also

Everybody is saying Johnny football. Isn't he a sophomore and have to play another year. Meaning he will be ready for the draft 2015?

I think the Ogbonnaya will be the starter or timeshare with McGahee. He has started before for the Browns and at least has a little experience over Rainey in the starting category and system. It'd only make sense for him and McGahee to be in a RBBC

Browns fans plenty of room over here in cowboy land. If you feel the need to jump ship we will welcome you with open arms no questions asked. What choice do you have? Your kinda like a man without a country now.
